We can set up an outside dining area with a brazier that doubles as a barbeque and a small supply of wood to start you off.

Interaction with Guests
We don't live on the farm, but 15 minutes away the other side of Carron village. We are always here to greet our guests and show them around the caravan and bathroom and explain about the area. Chris comes to the farm daily to work and if our guests need any help with anything we are very happy to help!
Other Things to Note
Minimum stay 2 nights
Please check in by 6pm. We don't have any 'house rules' as such! As we are a working organic farm we ask that our guests respect the land, animals and environment: If you walk through a closed gate, please close it after you. Please don't litter and no burning plastic!
Perfect example why I'm immediatly fan of AirBnB. A place like this you'ld never find on your own. The directions are right on the money. So completly surrounded by nothing else than beauty of Irish nature, silence and pure campfeelings. Go back to basic, but do it in a cute, cosy, retro kind of way. And be assured that a welcome start is taken care of. Julia and her son Freddy were very helpfull and kind and the first supply of food and drinks was more than sufficient. The sky full of stars to sleep under was a perfect dessert every day. And as a final tip, the Perfumery is a must-visit.
Dans notre périple Irlandais, cette pause camping bohème nous a beaucoup plu. Les enfants ont revécu leur période scout, préparant le feu tous les jours, observant la nature. L'accueil en famille fut très sympa.
Merci à tous les 3
Dear Julia and Chris,
What a great place you have! I already put it in your personal book: the most romantic bedroom ever. Everything was really perfectly clean, nice atmosphere completed via the candles, tablecoverings, neatly white bedlinnen.
Once you've reached the place it's easy to find it again!
The extra tent with a doublebed for parents is a must! More space, especially when it rains convenient.
The kids loved to play football in their own yard and slept perfect in their 'table-bed'.
Very clean shower/bathroom and a lot of cuttlery etc., makes the stay real easy.
Enjoy the sky full of stars in the middle of knowwhere!

What a wonderful, alternative way to spend the weekend in the Burren! The caravan was brilliant- So cosy, compact and uber retro!! Julia and Chris were wonderful hosts, ensuring we had organic eggs, fresh coffee and homemade jam for breakfast! The site itself is so picturesque and we being city slickers who are obsessed with our iPhones,
never slept better in such peaceful surroundings!! No distractions from the outside world- bliss!!
All you need are flip flops, wellies (let's face it, it's Ireland) and a hoodie! Don't worry, there is also a great shower with towels and toiletries from the local perfumery! Amazing!
We were sad to leave but can't wait to return again next summer!
You should do it!! It will make you laugh and smile lots!!

A stunning, magical stay! Perfect hosts. Star of the show is the wonderful 1960's caravan (tardis-like; much bigger on the inside), with everything you need for a comfortable stay (we cooked every night and you should too!). The setting is idyllic. This was a one of a kind experience. We will be back! Thanks Chris & Julia!
Julia and Chris were there to warmly greet us when we arrived and were prompt to answer when we had a little trouble finding the turn off for the site. The campsite was a gorgeous place with a wonderful view of the Burren, and was a most perfect place to end our trip to Ireland. The location was great as a homebase for exploring all that Clare has to offer. Julia recommended a beautiful coastal drive from Ballyvaughn to Doolin, and had lots of literature on what the area has to offer. They had the caravan stocked with all of the essentials for a relaxing camping experience (ie eggs, bread, butter, milk , water, and firewood). We would highly recommend this listing!
The Burren farm was really as magical as the photographs. We loved our stay there. Julia left fresh flowers, bread, butter, and orange juice for us when we arrived. Exploring the Burren was a highlight of our stay in Ireland- be sure to bring proper shoes! The farm is about an hour from the Cliffs of Moher and the drive there is wonderful and very scenic.
Chris and Julia gave EXCELLENT directions to the farm- be sure to follow those!! Although we did have some issues when we arrived (we assumed the directions led us to their house and we would walk to the campground from there but it does not so we could not find anyone!) So, even though the check-in time says before six, be sure to set up a time for arrival to make your arrival as smooth as possible, especially if you are not from an EU country (we did not have cell service for the fews days before we arrived so learned this the hard way!)
