We felt very welcome in the cabin we stayed in. We were provided several coupons for local attractions. The posting was quite accurate from the pictures online. We were about 20-30 mins from Pigeon Forge attractions, depending on traffic. The cabin was in a very quiet area with great views off the rap around deck. We did however have trouble with the water being a well system. Our water shut off completely when we tried to do too many things at once using water. Only one person could take a shower at once. The washer or dishwasher had to be ran separately from each other or any showers/baths. We had to have maintenance come out twice during our week to have this fixed so we were without water for about an hour each time. We did enjoy our stay together though.
Hi Megan, Thank you for your feedback. Yes, we agree the water situation was a challenge during your stay. We had not ever had that issue except during thunderstorms (when the power surges knock out the breakers). We in most all of those cases, we catch the problem before the guest ever has an issue. In your case, we had to figure out what was happening. The well company did figure it out and put a new part in right after your stay. The pump that brings the water from the well to the house was malfunctioning. That is why it was working sometimes and not working other times. And (of course) every time we had the well company looked at it, it was working right... They thought I was crazy a time or 2! (I felt like I was trying to explain what was wrong with my car-it never fails, my car always starts working when I take it to the shop). Non-the-less, we apologize for your inconvenience. That usually does not happen as the cabin is fully equipped with 2-1000 gallon storage tanks to hold plenty of water to wash, flush and brush all at the same time. We do appreciate your business and hope this will not stop you from coming back again as we have corrected the problem and all is "well". (no pun intended :)) Thank you! Noreen
Noreen was a great host and always was there when I had questions or issues. She made sure our stay was one to remember. Thank you again, Noreen.
