Sherry-Lee was a most gracious host, warmly welcoming us into her home, despite the fact that we were over 2 hours late. After introducing us to Mr. Winston (her so lovable dog) she showed us around her beautiful home. Plenty of drinks in the refrigerator plus fruit and snacks. Our room had a king size bed, ceiling fan, and jacuzzi in the bath complete with candles, matches, bath salts and fluffy towels. There was a small refrigerator in our room with water, juices and even a bottle of champagne. The front porch was perfect for morning coffee with a porch swing, chaise plus additional seating. Sherry-Lee was very helpful in sharing information about the area and put us in contact with a very capable realtor. The location was perfect, just a block from Main Street. We would not hesitate to stay with Sherry-Lee again.
Sherry-Lee was fantastic, and so was her house! Located within an easy walk of several great restaurants, but on a quiet street, this place is perfect. Dunedin is a quaint town, far down the street from the obviously 'touristy' part of Clearwater; a perfect vacation destination. Sherry-Lee also went out of her way to make us feel welcome: she provided cooler bags and ice packs for the beach, beach towels, sunscreen, all of the toiletries we could possibly need, a basket full of cookies and snacks, bottled water, juice, beer and even a bottle of bubbly. We had full use of her kitchen, which we utilized to make breakfast, and she was readily available to assist us. Mr. Winston is adorable, and obviously adored. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back with family to visit again. Thank you, Sherry-Lee!
Sherry-Lee is a gracious hostess. She went over and above what we expected. The home is nicely decorated, very warm and welcoming with an interesting history. The location could not be better. Two blocks from Main Street, fun shops, restaurants and bars. Dunedin is pedestrian, bike and dog friendly. We enjoyed riding our bikes on the Pinellas trail located just down the street from the house. Great little town. We enjoyed meeting Mr. Winston too, very happy little dog. Lucky dog too with his own interesting story.
We loved the house, loved the porch swing, loved Sherry-Lee, loved Mr. Winston who was usually on leash with Sherry-Lee, loved the room and the bath, the walk in closet, the fridge with goodies, the kitchen. Sherry-Lee met us at 6 after work, and she said we could arrive earlier in the future, but she needed to give us the home tour. Truly the best was we felt at ease with Sherry-Lee, no need to chit chat, but okay to chit chat, okay to share the swing with a local friend, to have her in for some tea. Truly felt at home first time in Sherry-Lee & Mr. Winston's home. I'd love to stay there again. The queen sleigh bed apparently is the most supportive/"hard" bed. We slept like rocks on it. The place was so clean. Cooler bags, sunscreen, special towels available to take to the beach. Nothing we could think was missed.
Our stay with Sherry-Lee was relaxed and comfortable thanks to her gracious hospitality and thoughtful attention to every detail! This was our 1st Airbnb experience and, as other reviewers have said, it will be hard to beat. We felt so very welcome in her lovely home, and having a chance to visit a bit with such an interesting, vibrant & kind host as Sherry-Lee was one of the highlights of our getaway. Her home is so comfortable and charming in every way and it was great to be a short walk to the marina and other places of interest. Sweet Peas Cafe is nearby and we enjoyed their healthful organic fare and charming atmosphere. I returned from our few days in Dunedin feeling refreshed and thankful for such a lovely time overall :) ! We hope to return soon and would certainly love to stay again with Sherry-Lee.
This was our first experience w/ airbnb and I’m concerned that Sherry set the bar so high, that other’s will struggle to be in the same arena! As you can see by the listing photos, not only is her home decorator-magazine-gorgeous, Sherry’s accommodations are top-notch; so many extras that all point to a very thoughtful hostess and amazing person. Everything was clean and comfortable, the bed extremely so. All this within walking distance of the water as well as restaurants; loved the Farmer's Market just 1 block away. Sherry was especially responsive to our needs, making us feel right at home. Not only did she locate an appropriate phone charger for me to borrow, she also had already printed off an alternate route for us to use in our travels that day because we had encountered lane closures the previous evening - how thoughtful! Sherry knows the meaning of “over-delivering.” What a wonderfully pleasant experience all the way around!! Thank you Sherry! ☺
Sherry-Lee was the perfect host. She greeted us warmly and gave us a tour of the house, explaining how everything worked & making sure we had everything we needed. Our room was extremely comfortable and the bed was amazing - I had the best night's sleep in ages. The jacuzzi bath was a real treat, with luxury bath salts included! In fact there were so many little extra touches that made our stay such a special one (a bottle of champagne in the fridge in our room being just one example). It was lovely to return to the house, help ourselves to a cold drink from the fridge & relax on the swing on the porch.
We chose not to cook breakfast ourselves as it was only a short stroll to several restaurants. The area was very pretty, extremely quiet & yet only a very short distance from the lively bars & waterfront.
Thanks Sherry-Lee for a fantastic airbnb experience. Wish we could have stayed longer & hope you will have us back when we are next in the area. Give Mr Winston a stroke from us.
