Welcome to Anaheim, home of Disneyland and Mickey Mouse!
Available for your stay is a private room in a 4-bedroom, 2 bathroom house off of State College St & Ball Rd, conveniently located near the 57 Freeway. The only residents here are my dad who lives in a back room detached from the house and myself (as well as my cat, Storm!)
Centrally located nearby many attractions, restaurants, and shopping! The room includes everything a hotel room would to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable, and private, including a microwave, and mini fridge!
You will have a full sized bed that sleeps up to 2 people. Have a third person? I also have a twin-sized airbed with extra bedding and blankets. Or I could add a sleeping pad and sleeping bag in the room for you if you prefer a harder surface to sleep on. You will not be sharing the bathroom with anyone unless my dad comes into the house to use the toilet or I have an out-of-town friend/guest staying in the other guest room, which I rarely do. Otherwise, the bathroom is all yours.
Nearby attractions and locations (time is for driving):
1) John Wayne Airport - 20 minutes
2) LAX - 45 minutes
3) Newport Beach or Huntington Beach - 20 minutes
4) Disneyland Resort - 10 minutes (only 1.2 miles away)

The house has a full kitchen, a large front yard, and ample free parking on the street.
What the room includes:
-Free Wi-Fi is available
-Towels and clean sheets, pillows, and blankets
-Shampoo, soap, iron, and other toiletries
-Blow-dryer (and curling iron and straightening iron in room)
-In room mini fridge
-Full access to the kitchen, appliances, and dishes
-Free and easy parking
I don't really serve breakfast but there is coffee or tea available in the kitchen if you would like any. As I do not charge a cleaning fee, the expectation is that my guests clean up after themselves. I do have a washer, but it is currently out of service so you will not be able to use it. The dryer is still functional.
Interaction with Guests
If I'm able to I will greet you upon your arrival. I do say, "Hello!" but do respect your privacy, so interaction is up to you, the guest. I've made many friends with my guests throughout the years as a host, so I am available to socialize if you're up for it.
The neighborhood is completely safe and very suburban. There's a liquor store near-by for small conveniences, many sandwich shops and a Carl's Jr within walking distance, a pizza place (rated 4 stars on Yelp!), a nearby Subway, a smoothie bar, and a grocery store a mile away (Albertson's). Opening soon: An In-N-Out across the street!
If I'm available I can pick you up from John Wayne Airport for $20 one way or from LAX for $50 one way. If you need a ride to Disneyland or need me to pick you up anywhere in the vicinity, I can drive you free of charge if I'm available. The nearest bus stop from the complex is a one minute walk on State College. There are a plethora of fine dining and casual restaurants nearby, as well as some food places within walking distance. There are also 4 competitively priced gas stations within a block of the house if you need to fill up before you head home.

-Please take off your shoes
-Since there will be no cleaning fee, please clean up after yourself as much as you can

-No overnight guests permitted
You know it's going to be a good stay when the host leaves chocolate donuts for you! I stayed at Diane's for five days with my boyfriend for a Disney trip and we LOVED the location. There is no SoCal traffic to deal with and the drive to the parks is less than ten minutes. In addition to the amazing location, we really loved the price of the room for how close it was to the parks.
So back to the chocolate donuts, Diane lists everything you need to know in the House Rules/listing description. We never ran into any issues with bumping into either Diane or her father, seeing as we only saw them for brief moments during our stay. Despite not seeing her, Diane is a wonderful host and is extremely quick in responding to any questions. We didn't feel any pressure when booking the listing. The neighborhood is quiet and we were able to conveniently park in the driveway.
The only downside, which Diane does mention in the listing, is that the room gets a little hot during the summer days, but it does cool off at night. The fan in the room is a huge help and the temperature wasn't a problem with the fan running.
Overall, this was a great location at an even better price. If you want somewhere close to the parks with a communicative host, Diane's is the place to book.
convenient location to visit Disneyland, less than 10 min away. Didn't actually see Diane because we got there late and left early. Her communication was excellent.
Diane wasn't there during my visit, but her cat Storm is lovely! Quiet neighborhood and less than 10 minutes to Disneyland made this room perfect! Always responded to my questions very quickly via text making for easy check in/out.
This is the place where you would want to stay if you want to go to Disneyland. It's only a 15 minutes drive by cab. The room was very comfortable and felt very home like. The neighborhood is quiet and has a safe kind of environment. I didn't get a chance to meet Diane because both of us were busy but she was very quick in responding to my messages(I apologize for messaging you at the wrong timing) and she also cater to all my needs. What I like most about the room is that she has everything what you need from microwave, hair straightener, shower gel and the AC. Diane is also very organize in her instructions of checking in and out of the house. So, I had no issues. I do recommend that you come with a company though just so that you won't feel so bored. Overall, I had a good experience living at Diane's place.
She is very friendly and she gives me some great tips about Disneyland . She tells us to take a uber to go there which will save us some money.
It was a clean room. Bathroom was decent. Only stayed a night but Diane was a very welcoming host.
