The Space

Paradise Mountain is our description of the place we call home in wine country. Resting atop Spring Mountain in Saint Helena, California, overlooking the magnificent Napa valley our villa is a magical, verdant place that speaks to the romantic. Completely secluded and deliciously private, the feel of the villa is Mediterranean with warm, glowing outdoor walls and terra cotta roofs. The grounds are replete with fruit and olive trees, vegetable and herb gardens, a citrus-lined courtyard with Koi fountain and of course a sparkling pool and spa. The feel indoors is cool and clean, with comfortable lounging areas and exposed wood beams overhead. Paradise Mountain feels far away from daily life, but is only minutes from world-class dining, wineries and boutique shopping.

  • Fantastic house. Amazing views. Jeff met us at the house, showed us around and did everything a great host would do. He was also available via text during our stay for questions, even introducing us to the owner of the neighboring winery. Thanks Jeff!

  • This house is amazing, and easily one of the nicest houses I have ever set foot in. The photos don't do it justice because the house and grounds are so broad and sweeping. It's incredibly nice without being uncomfortably fancy, and the pool area looks like something out of a movie. I cannot recommend it highly enough. I'll be back!

  • This was the first vacation I took in 14 years and it was an amazing experience. The pictures do not serve the estate justice. There were 8 of us and we all slept comfortably. The kitchen was a chefs dream, I brought a few spices with me to make sure we had what we needed but didn't end up using any of them. Jeff was so accommodating and I regret not being able to meet him and thank him in person. He suggested we do our grocery shopping at a local market called "Sunshine Market", I could have spent hours in that market. And everything we made was delicious!!

We stayed for 6 days and 5 nights, we spent most of the time in the patio, around the pool and in the kitchen. We tried to give every room and lounge area a little of our time but it seemed impossible! We wanted to play some tennis and take turns lounging in the hammock but we ran out of time.

If you work as much as we do.. this is the PERFECT place to get away! Even though our cell phones worked perfectly...once I walked in the door, I had no intension of answering.

There are not enough words to express our gratitude and appreciation for the little piece of paradise Jeff has shared with us.

  • We had a fantastic time in a magical home, with a great location in wine country. Jeffrey our host could not have been more wonderful and accommodating. We'll be back very soon!

  • Jeff provided a great place that is more like a resort than a house.

He is a great host that was in constant contact with me when I needed him.

  • Our stay at Villa Paradise Mountain was absolutely incredible. The photos of the listing don't even begin to do it justice – the view was second-to-none, the house was incredibly expansive and had plenty of room for our party, and having access to a top-of-the-line kitchen was excellent. We'll certainly be back – thanks!

  • The property is awesome. Great views of Napa Valley, close to St. Helena, but feels like you are a world apart. Great kitchen, outdoor area, and bedrooms. Perfect for a group of 6-8 to enjoy some time away. Jeffrey couldn't have been a better host.

  • nirvana, slice of heaven...PARADISE! driving through the gate at the driveway we were captivated by a breathtaking view of the valley from almost 2000 feet up - we just sat in the car with our jaws dropped and saoked it up for a full 5 minutes...and it only got better! The photos cannot possibly offer even a remotely close depiction of how beautiful and thoughtfully laid out the home is FABULOUS with three beautiful, long tables that are perfectly set up for prep and cooking while still leaving tons of space for the 6 of us to gather and socialize. The "formal great room" was not even shown on the photos and is spectacularly beautiful, warm & welcoming. with 2 separate soft seating areas, a huge fireplace and a gorgeous round dining table that can accommodate up to 14 guests - it was very difficult deciding where we wanted to gather. The "fun great room" had a seating area for watching the games and a sofa area perfect for cocktails while we played pool. the bedrooms were all fabulous - nobody could possibly feel like they got a bad one! The grounds are almost Zen-like the way they gently pull you through the property...bountiful garden FULL of several varieties of perfectly ripe tomatoes. zucchini, squash, rainbow Swiss Chard, fennel, peppers and more. Every plant or tree we walked upon turned out to be another fruit of some kind...apples, pomegranites, kiwis & figs galore! The pool area and hot tub are so perfectly laid out and comfortably encouraged hours of afternoon and evening Happy hour (email hidden)oquette field definitely has the best view in the world.... constant giggles could be heard thorughout the property as one of us inevitably stumbled across another amazing experience!...the "sunset platform" up the pathway behind the house was the last and most perfect secret that revealed itself to us - although even after 4 days we all felt like the home had plenty more new experiences to offer! We all said that this house felt like it would have if we had designed it ourselves because it was just so perfect for our group in every way! Jeffrey was an amazingly responsive, generous and accommodating host. We all agreed that this was the best and we will definitely be back - and next time we will leave at least 2 full days that will be totally dedicated to hanging out at the house!

  • This was an unbelievable weekend. I went up with a group of friends for my 31st birthday, and the house was above and beyond any expectations. Pool, hot tub, grill, professional kitchen, croquet lawn, pool table, ping pong table, darts, tennis court, badminton set, vegetable garden, unbelievable views, amazing location. One friend flew up for the first night, and immediately on seeing the place, called his babysitter to extend his stay.

Jeff responded quickly to emails and checked in to make sure we were doing okay.

I will be going back as soon as I can find the occasion...

  • We had spent a Labor Day weekend at the Villa. The place is stunning, the view is magnificent and the atmosphere is VERY relaxing. It was the first time in my life I did not even open the computer to check on my e-mails.
Whatever you would like to do on your vacations, the Villa has it all: meditating on the top of the hill, relaxing in the hot tub, swimming in the pool guarded by cypresses, having your morning coffee at the sunlight, playing tennis, having an afternoon nap at the outdoor sofa or hammock, prepare our meal at the fully equipped kitchen or having a dinner at the grand round table.
The house it truly artistic and comfortable: you have a quality resort time with the privacy. If you are here with your friends, you would still easily be able to spend some time in quiet – there is plenty of space and rooms.
5 stars to the Villa Paradise Mountain!
