Relax around the fire pit, cook in the fully-equipped kitchen, & dine on the wrap-around screened porch. The space
Escape to our 2 bedroom/2 bath (+ loft) lakefront retreat, where creativity and tranquility meet. The home is thoughtfully curated with a personal collection of art, making this a truly one-of-a-kind getaway.

Outside:
Start your day with peaceful moments on the water in our kayaks and canoe, or cast a line from the private dock, perfect for fishing enthusiasts. Relax in the outdoor living spaces surrounded by the beauty of nature, and in the evenings, gather around the stone patio and firepit for a cozy night under the stars, roasting marshmallows and enjoying great conversation. Firewood is provided!

Screened porch:
Enjoy bug-free outdoor dining with scenic views of the lake from our spacious porch. Besides the dining area, there's a living area with sofas and a rocking chair, as well as an open deck with comfortable chairs - the perfect place to look out over the lake with a cup of coffee in the mornings and read in the afternoon.

Living room:
Comfortable seating and gorgeous lake views, and double doors open to the screened porch to expand the living space. Games and puzzles can be found in the chest under the TV.

Kitchen:
We love to cook, and this kitchen is set up with everything you'll need - cookware, dishes and serveware, cooking tools, toaster, blender, etc. Serious about coffee? We provide a regular drip coffee maker, French press, and pour-over options, as well as a Keurig coffee maker & cups. Our open deck features a propane grill.

Bedrooms:
The primary bedroom boasts a comfortable king bed and 55" TV, along with an en-suite bathroom, while the guest room offers a queen bed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep for all.

Loft:
The cozy loft has 2 pull-out twin beds, perfect for extra guests or the kids. The stairs to the loft are a little steep—please use care when climbing! The loft also features a desk, great for working from home or writing your next novel. We have fast wifi!

Laundry:
We have a separate laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer.

Every corner of this home is designed with comfort and style in mind, featuring personal touches that make it feel like a true home away from home. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and local attractions, you’ll enjoy a peaceful escape while still being close to everything you need.

Recharge in nature with all the amenities within the Retreat at Water’s Edge community, and use it as a home base for everything the area has to offer - numerous state parks, hiking, fishing, mountain biking, golf, the University of the South, The Caverns, and so on.

The Retreat at Water’s Edge community includes several public docks, additional kayak rentals, and pavilions with picnic tables and stone fireplaces.

Just a short drive from Nashville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta, each season provides a different Cumberland Plateau experience. Book your stay at this artistic lakeside sanctuary, and immerse yourself in a blend of nature, culture, and relaxation.

Other things to note
While the home is ready for guests, the community is still under development in some areas. There may be some construction noise in the area during the week, but you can expect very peaceful evenings and weekends.
