About This Listing
Bright, modern, two bedroom apartment with a beautiful balcony in the hippest part of Brooklyn.
This is a beautiful two bedroom apartment in a brand new steel and glass building in the hippest new area in Brooklyn. The North and South walls of the apartment are floor to ceiling windows that leave the apartment bathed in sunlight. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, large closet, and dresser. The second bedroom/office has a king sized pull-out couch, large closet, and desk. The living area is a large open-floor plan with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, and comfortable sitting area. The furniture is all mid-century modern and the appliances top of the line, including a Bosch dishwasher and washer-dryer plus a Siemens professional stove and oven. The bathroom is white and grey stone with very modern fixtures and a large bathtub. The apartment has a built in stereo system throughout which connects directly to your Ipod. Most exciting of all is the apartment’s 280 square foot balcony just on the other side of the glass doors. The balcony has a couch and dining table which seats four. The apartment has central heat and air conditioning and is located on the fourth floor with an elevator. All neighbors are young professionals and artists. The neighborhood is right in the middle of the prime Pro-cro area (Prospect Heights and Crown Heights) with innumerable bars, restaurants, and other shops right at your fingertips. Prospect Park is a 10 minute wask, as is the Brooklyn Museum, Zoo, and the Botanical Gardens. The C train is a 5 minute walk and the 2/3 is about 10 minutes.
Please note: from January-June, the apartment is only for rent by the month, with a preference for someone who can take it for multiple months (or the whole period).
Rosalinde was super helpful, meeting me the night before with a key so that my brother and his wife could check in the next day. I live nearby and her lovely apt was perfect for them. It was very clean, open, spacious, with a lovely back patio. My brother loved it and would stay again any time he's visiting.
Prospect Heights is a great neighborhood with lots of walkable restaurants and bars. The museum and botanic garden plus Prospect Park and the farmer's market make it a place you could spend a lot of time in. The C, 2/3, 4/5 and Q trains are all handy too.
My wife, Kathy, and I just returned from a month stay in Rozy's apartment in Brooklyn. It was great. Very comfortable, bright, good kitchen, wonderful balcony- porch, good bathroom and bedrooms, wi-fi, real easy garbage and recycling, elevator and many restaurants, stores, cafes and bars very close. Only 20 minute walk to Prospect Park. Plus, Rozy is really easy and accommodating--great to work with.
We (three adults) stayed at Rozy's apartment over the Christmas period and found it very comfortable. It's spacious and bright, with a huge balcony which would act as another room in the warmer months.
The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to do a lot of cooking at the apartment.
Pooks the cat is lovely, a little timid but once she gets to know you, she comes out of her shell for a fuss.
The area in general is great, close to the subway for getting further afield and nearby there are nice restaurants, bars and shops.
I would definitely recommend Rozy's apartment.
My friends and I had the privilege of staying at Rosalinds apartment for 5 days 4 nights this past weekend. The apartment itself was a new build, clean and very well maintained. It was spacious for 3 of us however you could easily fit another 2-3 more people there. Rosalind also has a cat who stays in the apartment. The cat generally stays to herself until she's ready for a belly rub. Very easy to co-exist with her however I would be wary of anyone who has a pet allergy as she does shed quite a bit. Nonetheless, friendly cat friend to have around; we all had a little bit of fun playing with her.
The area that the apartment was located in was a beautiful up and coming part of Brooklyn located literally a 5 minute walk from the C train which would take us right into Manhattan, Times Sq and other points of interest. The neighborhood is a safe close knit community full of character; There are a lot of small bistros, pubs and bars to check out. Definitely made our trip significantly easier.
Rosalind was a great host and extremely flexible with my friends and I regarding check in and check out time. Both Rosalind and her friend Courtney were welcoming, warm and friendly with us. They provided lots of information about the area and the different blocks along Brooklyn. They were also very communicative which made getting into and out of the apartment very easy.
I would definitely recommend Rosalind's apartment for anyone looking for a peaceful quiet stay in NYC.
We all had a great time in Rosalind apartment. The apartment has tons of natural light and is very comfortable, you end up feeling like at home and the terrace is great. Rosalind was not in NY during our stay but she was always very reachable though email, all doubts and help was rapidly solve, and prepared everything to make the keys pick up and dropping very easy. Overall a very good experience that I would recommend.
