This is a beautiful two bedroom apartment in a brand new steel and glass building in the hippest new area in Brooklyn. The North and South walls of the apartment are floor to ceiling windows that leave the apartment bathed in sunlight. The master bedroom has a queen sized bed, large closet, and dresser. The second bedroom/office has a king sized pull-out couch, large closet, and desk. The living area is a large open-floor plan with a fully-equipped kitchen, dining table, and comfortable sitting area. The furniture is all mid-century modern and the appliances top of the line, including a Bosch dishwasher and washer-dryer plus a Siemens professional stove and oven. The bathroom is white and grey stone with very modern fixtures and a large bathtub. The apartment has a built in stereo system throughout which connects directly to your Ipod. Most exciting of all is the apartment’s 280 square foot balcony just on the other side of the glass doors. The balcony has a couch and dining table which seats four. The apartment has central heat and air conditioning and is located on the fourth floor with an elevator. All neighbors are young professionals and artists. The neighborhood is right in the middle of the prime Pro-cro area (Prospect Heights and Crown Heights) with innumerable bars, restaurants, and other shops right at your fingertips. Prospect Park is a 10 minute wask, as is the Brooklyn Museum, Zoo, and the Botanical Gardens. The C train is a 5 minute walk and the 2/3 is about 10 minutes.
I have a cat and would prefer someone who can take care of the cat (very low maintenance).

We (three adults) stayed at Rozy's apartment over the Christmas period and found it very comfortable. It's spacious and bright, with a huge balcony which would act as another room in the warmer months.
The kitchen is well equipped and we were able to do a lot of cooking at the apartment.
Pooks the cat is lovely, a little timid but once she gets to know you, she comes out of her shell for a fuss.
The area in general is great, close to the subway for getting further afield and nearby there are nice restaurants, bars and shops.
I would definitely recommend Rozy's apartment.
The reservation was canceled 8 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
My friends and I had the privilege of staying at Rosalinds apartment for 5 days 4 nights this past weekend. The apartment itself was a new build, clean and very well maintained. It was spacious for 3 of us however you could easily fit another 2-3 more people there. Rosalind also has a cat who stays in the apartment. The cat generally stays to herself until she's ready for a belly rub. Very easy to co-exist with her however I would be wary of anyone who has a pet allergy as she does shed quite a bit. Nonetheless, friendly cat friend to have around; we all had a little bit of fun playing with her.
The area that the apartment was located in was a beautiful up and coming part of Brooklyn located literally a 5 minute walk from the C train which would take us right into Manhattan, Times Sq and other points of interest. The neighborhood is a safe close knit community full of character; There are a lot of small bistros, pubs and bars to check out. Definitely made our trip significantly easier.
Rosalind was a great host and extremely flexible with my friends and I regarding check in and check out time. Both Rosalind and her friend Courtney were welcoming, warm and friendly with us. They provided lots of information about the area and the different blocks along Brooklyn. They were also very communicative which made getting into and out of the apartment very easy.
I would definitely recommend Rosalind's apartment for anyone looking for a peaceful quiet stay in NYC.
We all had a great time in Rosalind apartment. The apartment has tons of natural light and is very comfortable, you end up feeling like at home and the terrace is great. Rosalind was not in NY during our stay but she was always very reachable though email, all doubts and help was rapidly solve, and prepared everything to make the keys pick up and dropping very easy. Overall a very good experience that I would recommend.
Stay at Rozy's place! We did and we liked it a lot because it was clean, convenient, exactly as listed and suited all our needs for our short stay to visit family in the neighborhood as well as take jaunts to Manhattan.
Our favorite hours were spent on the balcony sipping coffee from the French press and enjoying morning pastries - we were lucky to hit a warm weekend in November. Other hits included a soaking bath after a long day of enjoyable walks, home-cooked meals from the modern kitchen and even the fact that the dishwasher is a quiet one just like ours at home!
We have rented elsewhere in this district and can say that Rozy's place was the best by far. Quiet nights, safe streets, good subway access (45 minutes from JFK). And clean. We like clean. The cat was a bonus!
Rosalind was a great host. Before arrival she provided us (two couples) with perfect directions and instructions. She was also very communicative. Responded to each question very quickly and helped us with everything we asked. Apartment was really great. Pretty modern and in great location. Just few minutes from metro C line. Neighborhood first seems pretty rough but actually is very nice. Overall great stay and good value for money.
Our stay in Rozy's amazing condo was wonderful. Couldn't have asked for a better space, better location or better host. Everything was incredibly seamless and Rozy was always quick to respond to make sure we had everything we needed. The building is gorgeous. Super tidy and safe. Everything feels super new and modern, but Rozy's eclectic style make our stay feel cozy. Best part of the whole stay, the balcony. Amazing!!!
The apartment is amazing and we enjoyed the time spend eating and drinking on the balcony at evening. There are 4 different subway stations (5 to 12 minutes walking) that connected us to different part of Manhattan without changing to many trains. The apartment is located in a nice area and is few blocks from nice restaurants.
It was a beautiful stay for four friend that wanted to spend a weekend together in NYC.
Rozy's place is really beautiful, bright, big and the balcony's great. The apartment was spotless. The cat was very sweet too. It's within walking distance to great cafés and restaurants although the neighborhood could look a liitle better still.
Rozy was helpful with arrangements. The only downside was the a/c wasn't working properly and it was a crazy hot weekend, and it was hard to find help as she was traveling...but besides that, great value :) and I would recommend it.
Hey, we were at Rosalinda's place for about 3 weeks. Overall it was great, neighborhood may seem scary at the first a couple of days but actually it's really cool and close to everything. If you like watching TV during your stay and you have allergies to the cat I wouldn't suggest you staying at this place. Also if you like to cook, there might be a small problem with appliances. But we enjoyed our stay there for sure. Thank you Rozy.
