My place is a bright, spacious 1 BR/1 Bath apartment with tons of natural light, a comfortable queen size bed, AC/heat in the living room and bedroom, full kitchen, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffeemaker, 55" plasma TV, DirecTV with HBO, PS4/BluRay/DVD player, poker chips (if you like to get your Hold Em' on) free wifi, laundry on site and free parking. I only rent out my place when I'm out of town so you will have it entirely to yourself.
You'll be within a mile radius of the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Park, the Hollywood Sign and many other tourist attractions. You'll also be three blocks from the Metro Red Line which will give you direct access to Downtown, LAX, Universal Studios, etc. You could also walk four blocks to Frankin Village, a really hip little strip of bars, restaurants, coffeeshops, record stores and The Upright Citizens Brigade (a famous LA improv/comedy venue.)
I make my living as a musician and I have started playing out on the road and sharing my place helps me counteract the cost of touring. I was born and raised in LA and I'm very familiar with the area so if you need any help finding anything around town don't hesitate to ask.
All I ask is that you turn off whatever you are not using (TV, AC. etc), lock whatever you have unlocked when leaving, and please be consiterate.
My husband and i were looking for a place to stay in LA for the weekend, that would have an intresting place to walk around.. Jesse's apartment isnt far from the walk of fame and other interesting places to see. The apartment is clean and very cozy and has a great tv set and very comfortable bed. Jesse was always availabe during our stay and was very nice and inviting. We will certainly come again the next time we're in town.
Great host, great room to stay. Jesse responded quickly all the time and answered any questions I had. His TV and home theater system was awesome and I was able to fully enjoy them. Parking was easy.
The host left very accurate instructions and made everything super easy. The actual apartment was just as shown in the photos so that was great. The only thing is that since I know LA very well I was a bit disappointed in the location. It was not in the "Middle of the action" It was a bit removed and the apartment complex and parking is a little crowded: you can easily hear the neighbors' conversations through the walls (so they can probably hear yours) and you have to be really careful not to scratch your car because cars are parked all along the entryway. On the upside the bed was super comfy and the bedroom is situated in the rear of the apartment and doesn't share any walls (corner apartment) so you do get a good night's sleep.
I try to make things as easy as possible for guests when they stay at my place so I'm glad the instructions were useful. I agree the bedroom is in a great location, especially for me because I get to play music late at night without bothering anyone.
I'm sorry you weren't satisfied with the location but I would like to clear one thing up. You're right, my place is not in the "Middle of the action" and I have never advertised it that way, it is "Close to the action." These are obviously subjective terms but to give anyone reading this an idea of the surroundings, the Pantages Theatre and W Hotel (where the Hollywood Walk of Fame begins) is literally less than a mile (one subway stop) away. Franklin Village (my personal favorite area in all of LA) has a few really cool bars, restaurants, coffee shops and the Upright Citizens Brigade, arguably one of the best improv clubs in town, is four blocks away. It'll take you about five minutes to walk to the subway station at Western and Hollywood. The bottom line is that I love the location of my apartment and I stand by the title. I think in this case, it may have been misread or misinterpreted.
Apartment has a good location， close to the Griffith park. The price is cheap. Jesse has many great flims We love it.But at night it's noisy outside. Don't feel clean sheets.
Apartment was as advertised. Clean, good location and Jesse was a suitable host with great communication. No complaints here.
Although I didn't get the pleasure to meet Jesse, he responded quickly to my request. We spent our nights at Universal Studio's Halloween Horror Nights so this location was great! It's also surrounded by great restaurants. The living room was spacious and the couch was comfy. My bf brought his own PS4 and had no problems with setting it up. The only negative review is that the bed sheets didn't seem as clean. I found dust and some short grey/silver hairs. I'm quite the neat and clean freak so I stayed out of the bedroom for the rest of the trip. Thank goodness the couch provided a comfortable place to sleep. There was some trash in the bathroom when we got there, but it was no big deal. All in all, good place and great location!
Place was just as advertised. House was easy to find, easy to use and was a short walk to most destinations. I would stay there again.
I'm a singer-songwriter guitar player, I am beginning to travel more frequently and have started renting out my place to cover the cost of being on the road. I also love staying in unique places and I see Airbnb as a great way to do that. I only rent out my place when I'm gone so you will always have the place to yourself.
Five things I couldn't live without, lets see...

-My awesome friends and family
-The Daily Show and Colbert Report
-Books (The Four Agreements, Life of Pi, Native Tongue, Hemingway Short Stories, The Art of Fielding, The Tipping Point)
