About this listing
This is a family home, it was built in 1920, so it has a heritage value, very close to the tradicional market and the main square (7 min flat walking).
My mother will be at home to help you most of the time, we can offer you basic and clean rooms and a nice traditional coca te when you arrive! good for altitude sickness.
We can also pick you up, so we need your arriving details. See you soon!
Run whit hot water.
Esperamos amistad sincera, intercambio de conocimientos, sentimientos de familia, y finalmente volver a atenderlos a través de sus amistades a lo largo del tiempo.
Liz and her mother Mercedes are amazing hosts! Señora Mercedes always went above and beyond to accommodate us. It really felt like they were inviting us into their home for our brief stay in Cusco.
The two rooms are pretty spacious, we fit four people comfortably and shared a bathroom. The WiFi is pretty strong (which was not the norm during our travels). This is a great place because it is so centrally located -- we were just around the corner from the San Pedro Market, which made it easy for us to stop by for cheap food, juice, and souvenirs! Plaza de Armas and Plaza San Francisco were also just a 5-10 minute away.
One word of warning though -- layer up! Even though Señora made sure to give us extra blankets and a heat lamp, the stone architecture and lack of central heating in Cusco makes it very cold indoors during the winter.
A really great place to stay! Liz and her mother are extremely friendly and helpful, they welcomed me in like family. The room is behind a tranquil courtyard in a well located neighborhood.
The place is a great value, and both Liz and her mother were very helpful. Note that the room is a bit cold/damp, as there is no window. But at this price you can't really complain. Its very close to the central market, which is really interesting to explore.
Liz and her mother were amazing. I became sick while staying there and when they found out, they treated me like their own son. We definitely felt like family while we were staying there.
Really enjoyed my stay here. Liz, Mercedes, and David were wonderful. Great price for simple accommodations in a great part of town.
Other reviewers have said it well: Casa de Hospedaje Easy Travel is not done up as a modern, polished operation. But it has a wonderful charm none-the-less totally owing to the friendliness and graciousness of the Llerena family. The father, Ernesto, was especially helpful in showing me around town, and even assisting me in a little shopping. And you will be physically comfortable here--great beds, space heaters, nice bathrooms, breakfast on a tray to your room. All this plus a great location. Thank you Familia Llerena!
