The space

Two-room apartment available on the
second floor. Close to both scenery nature and inner city.

In the apartment there is a bathroom, a kitchen, a living room (sleeps 2) and a separate room (sleeps 1).

There is a shared garden where you can enjoy your meals.

The apartment is 5 minutes from Lyngby station, Lyngby city and Lyngby lake. Lyngby is a rather large city (by danish
standards), but still small enough to be cozy. There is all you need for shopping, either in the mall or in the pedestrian friendly streets. Or you can visit one of the many cafés or restaurants.

Lyngby is surrounded by beautiful nature, and is close to Dyrehaven, where the danish kings used to hunt.

If you are so inclined, you can lend our bicycles (1x gent, 1x lady, several kids) and ride around Lyngby lake (4,5 km)
or to Lyngby city. You can also take the bicycles with you
in the S-Train (it’s free, the bicycle, not you) and go to Copenhagen and see it like the locals see it, from a bicycle.

Bright, spacious, tastefully furnished apartment in a 200yo charming villa. Situated in a quiet street of Lyngby, few kilometers from the Frilandmuseet (Danish open air museum) and the mighty Bakken, the world's oldest amusement park! There is a supermarket nearby and also the train station to easily reach the center of Copenhagen. Marian is really a nice person, she has made us feel just like friends. Strongly recommended!

My host, Marian, was nice and helpful. The apartment was warm, cozy and most importantly conveniently located close to the train station to Copenhagen and within walking distance to downtown Lyngby. Overall, I had a wonderful stay.

The flat was very nice in a good location, close to both the city center and the lake. Marian was a very good host, answering our questions and making special arrangements for our little son. We could arrive and depart at times that suited us. There was no problem finding a free parking spot close to the house. We would not hesitate to rent this flat again! For those allergic or with asthma it is good to know that there were cat/dog hair in the flat and that smoke from the neighbour could sometimes be smelled in the hallway. Another tip is to bring a sleeping mask as the rooms get very light in the morning.

I had a nice stay at Marian's place during my time in Denmark! Conveniently located near the train station, it is on the the second floor below the roof (so be careful if you are tall :p). Be aware also that a cat and a dog live there with Marian when she's not renting, so you need not be allergic to animals! Much recommended =)

Stayed Three nights with my spouse and our ten month old boy. The flat was very personal and cosy. Didn't know a cat lived there but since none of us are allergic this wasn't a problem. Marian took great care in making us feel welcome with a lot of infomation about local venues Worth visiting (although most of our time was spent with our friends living in Lyngby). Highly recommended!
