The space

Loft-style apartment of 40 m2. • Calle Pintor Casilari Roldán, Malagueta, Malaga, Andalusia 29016, Spain.

Cosy loft-style apartment, recently renovated (late June 2013). Brand new, very bright with large windows and with views of the beach to the side from the window.

The apartment has a living-room with kitchen and sitting area, and seperate bedroom and bathroom.

It is fully equipped with air conditioning and heating, TV, fridge-freezer, double bed, wardrobes, sofa (convertable to bed), oven-microwave with grill, washing machine, clothes drying area, hob, kettle, toaster, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and everything you may need for cooking and cleaning. WIFI Internet service is available and included in the price.The building has a lift and concierge.

The building is next to supermarkets, pharmacies, cafes, ice cream parlors, restaurants and bars where you can enjoy dishes: Paella, gazpacho, fried fish and sardines cooked over a wood fire, accompanied by chilled Sangría. For brunch, sample the churros with chocolate.

Its location is ideal for Malaga and, while enjoying the sea and the building is in front of the beach Malagueta that has beach bars, umbrellas and sun loungers.

A 3 minute walk to the MUELLE 1 area, located in the port surrounded by shops and catering establishments including José Carlos García´s Michelin Star restaurant where you can eat or have a coffee at the seaside.

An 8-minute walk to the historic center, Calle Larios and major cultural offerings of the city, such as Picasso,Pompidou and Thyssen museums, park and City Walk. You can also visit the Plaza de la Merced, the birthplace of Picasso, Roman Theatre, La Alcazaba and Gibralfaro .... and all that the center of Malaga has to offer.

A 3 minute walk from the bullring and emblematic neighborhood of Malaga, La Caleta. Just 5 meters from a large promenade ideal for walking.

There are bus stops that take you directly to the airport (6 km) or the main train station (2km) 1 minute away. Tourist bus also.

Public parking nearby.

Extra cleaning service is an optional extra.

The apartment can also be equipped for children with an extra charge per day: Cot park, sheets,stroller, high chair and furniture for children.

Beautiful apartment in a great location. Ana Marina was nice and gave us helpful information. The only thing was that there was not enough paper towels and hot water in the shower ran out fast. Other than that, good overall experience.

I really enjoyed this location. It was quiet in our little spot but so easy to explore the core of the city. Just steps from the beach and then a very short walk to the dock. A market was just a building over and restaurants not only just outside the door but around every corner…

This apartment is five minutes from everything. Very easy to access the city center the marina or the beach. Ana Marina was so helpful even telling me what to tell the taxi driver in order to find the apartment and get to the airport!

Hello Sia – Many thanks for your frank comments. I am sorry to hear that you did not completely enjoy your stay as I do try hard to welcome all guests as well as possible. The late check-in charge is advertised and was communicated to you before arrival. I do this in cash, rather than through AirBnB, because when guests arrive earlier than expected (I mean before 8pm) there is no need for the charge. Indeed – I have 4 children - you met my 15-year-old, and the other three were being looked after at home by a sitter. I hope you don’t feel that the police check-in form is an imposition from me. This is, in fact, a legal requirement for all short-term rents in Málaga (and possibly Spain, I am not sure if it is local or national law). If you visit Málaga and are not asked to sign such a form, you are renting illegally. I am delighted to say that of nearly 90 reviews so far, I have not had guests mention wear or maintenance issues, and I do try to ensure that the apartment is like a home from home for guests. Following your comment, I will take close look again when current guests leave to ensure all is in perfect order. Unfortunately, from time to time some street noise can be expected in Spain – part of the charm of visiting Spain is the vivacity of the people. We are famed for late-night living and being outdoors as the weather is so mild. That said, while you have unfortunately experienced some late evening noise on this occasion, it is not typical in this area. I would mention that on days where guests overlap, I do ask the leaving guest to leave by the usual check-out time of 12pm. With new guests arriving at 2pm, and your wish to remain until 1pm, my suggestion was that perhaps we could do the check-out at the usual 12pm time, but that I would happily store your baggage until 1pm when you had planned to leave. This is to allow sufficient time to clean the apartment correctly for the next guest, while perhaps you can enjoy lunch or a stroll in the city before leaving. Thanks again for staying, and for your frank comments. I hope you will enjoy more if and when we get the chance to welcome you here in Málaga again.

Anna's property was exactly as described and true to the posted pictures. The flat unbelievably close to the beach and about 15 minutes away from the center of old town. This is a great property!
