We had a wonderful stay at Jane's house. It is a perfect location if you are visiting the Dartmouth campus and/or skiing at the Dartmouth skiway. The bedroom was clean, cozy and full of so many books! Jane made us some nice breakfast in the morning and we had a wonderful time talking to her. Thanks, Jane!
This is the second time I have stayed at here, and it was just as good as the first.
I stayed here in winter, and cozy is the prefect word for this room. It is low ceilinged with big widows looking out the back, from which I could see the snow falling while lying in bed. Jane, Randy and the excellent Rudder (the labrador) made me feel very welcome. The bed is comfortable, and the room and bathroom clean and well maintained and well supplied with towels, soap etc. It was a very calm and relaxing stay.
Jane was a lovely and welcoming host -- her home is charming and within easy reach of Hanover. It was easy to find and a great base for adventuring around Vermont. The upstairs bedroom is cozy and comfortable and a welcome change from a hotel and Jane was helpful throughout my entire stay.
Jane, Randy and Rudder made our stay especially warm! My friend and I stayed overnight after a long night of skiing and we could not have been more pleased with the cute room full of old children's books. Tall people may have to crouch a bit as the ceiling is a bit low but we had no problems. The bathroom was stocked with amenities and the room was comfortable. Jane was kind enough to set up some yogurt, fruit, granola and coffee for us and we had a lovely conversation with her and her beautiful labrador :) ! Thank you! Will stay again if I'm ever back in the area :)
My husband and I went for a quick, last minute get-away. We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was nicely decorated with a great personal touch. It was clean and comfortable. The recommendations for local restaurants and things to do was helpful. Jane was efficient and easy to work with for booking and we enjoyed a yummy, light breakfast. We would definitely go back.
On our second visit we enjoyed staying with Jane as much as our first visit! Her home and the room are so quaint and cute, and they make for a perfect winter weekend getaway to Vermont! We look forward to returning soon!
