The Space

Bonjour and welcome to our place!

We will be pleased to have you stay in our beautiful house with a mind blowing, beautiful and unique over 180 deg sea view.

We live here and maintain a high standard of living. The house is big and the view is stunning so we thought we will let the people know more about it and share it with the world. It is a present from life and the more to enjoy it the merrier.

The bedroom is reasonably sized and is equipped with a double bed, a built-in wardrobe, a kettle and a private shower room with toilets. There is internet access around the house

You will be hosted in a quiet house, tucked away from the busy life. In the morning, you will enjoy your freshly prepared breakfast before readying yourself to rest by the swimming pool or go and explore the area. You can lie down by the swimming pool, enjoy the over 180 deg sea view, read your book and be rocked to sleep by the sound of the water fall and the cicadas.

The maid will regularly check your room to make it nice, clean and fresh. She comes every other days.

Agay is made to welcome tourists without making the tourists to feel like tourists. Beach and the sea are the main attractions. Snorkelling, fishing, scuba-diving, boating, sailing, water-skiing, jet-ski, island hopping, parasailing are less than 10min drive away. Most of them are 10 min walk away. You can also practice kite surfing in St Aygulf which is a 30 min very enjoyable drive away from the house.

The residence we live in is a vast, elegant and ultra quiet gated domain with only privately owned houses bordering the protected natural reserve of L'Esterel. You have access to a nice and incredibly beautiful walk to the top of the mountain. From up there you can see from Cannes to St Tropez on one side and you can embrace all the country side from the other side and admire the red mountains, the green pines and the blue sea.

Bars and restaurants are directly accessible by walk. You will find night clubs all along the coast from St Tropez to Cannes, both 40 minutes max drive from the house.

As it is ubber quiet, forget about public transport, but one more time, what makes thus place so unique is our beautiful, unique, delightful (website hidden): no kids allowed to keep the place quiet. We own 2 lovely nice yorkshire terriers.

We hope to see you soon.

Jon.

  • Beautiful house up on the hill above Agay with the most spectacular views! Jon was very helpful and accommodating and his gran lovely. The location is perfect between San Tropez and Cannes but you do need a car as its a little off the main road up a very steep hill. Bedroom small but cute and bed comfortable. Bathroom design is quaint and shower small, but it wasn't a problem. We enjoyed our stay very much.

  • We had an amazing time in Agay. Jon is a very caring host. The room we had was clean and cozy. The breakfast was prepared by Jon's grandmother - a really nice woman, who helped us finding good restaurants and places to visit. The best thing about the house is the inifinity pool with a great view over the coast and the sea. Definitely a place worth visiting!

  • Wow! What an incredible experience!! The pictures do absolutely no justice to just how breathtaking the view and experience is/are from the infinity pool. Further, Jon's grandmother is just the most adorable lady, so courteous and thoughtful. She serves a near-idyllic breakfast every morning outside on the patio. It's a fairly intimate environment and, as described, requires a car to get to. But the experience itself is so great that it is entirely worth repeating. We hope to come back.

  • First of all we want to thank Jon and Yseult for this fantastic stay in Agay.

We need to say that it was our first experience of using airbnb and renting room / apartment instead of booking a hotel.

Agay is a small town located not far from Saint-Raphael. It is nicely situated in between of San-Tropez and Cannes, so you can go wherever you want. It also has a quite good beach and embankment where we were jogging in the morning. In the town can also find food market, restaurants, bar, etc. along the embankment.

We arrived to Agay from Sant-Raphael by taxi. It is only 15 minutes ride and 25 euro cost. Jon provided us with all details that we needed to come to the house and always was available over the phone for any clarifications.

At arrival we were welcomed by Yseult (Jon’s grandmother), who in fact is a host there. She is a very kind and beautiful woman who became our friend.

A house is situated on a hill and has a stunning sea view. It is better to arrive there by car, but if you are a fitness lover (like we are) it’s also nice to have a fat-burning training by going up and down to the sea.

The room is rather small, but very clean and has everything you might need during a short stay. The very best advantage of the place is an infinite swimming pool and a sea view from it.

Yseult's breakfasts were very tasty and healthy. She was very kind and friendly and she invited us to go Cannes and Le Cannet by her car.

We also enjoyed the dinner with Yseult and her friends and French lessons that she gave to us :)

We enjoyed this stay a lot and already want to come back next year!

    Merci,
    Sergey & Lyuba

  • Jon’s house is situated at the very top of the village Agay in a gated community (ask for the code, otherwise you will not get in!). Thus, the view is just stunnishing. We stayed in a room attached to the main house. However, we do not recommend this place. Our room was very dirty. The floor and the bathroom and especially the toilet were very dirty. Blankets had not been changed. As some woodworms were living in the wooden joist floor above our bed the covers were really dirty too. That is why we decided to sleep in our own sleeping bags. The shower, which was not really a shower but rather a built-in camping shower, was very unhygienic. Altogether, the building and the green area made a really neglected impression. As we did not speak French and the host did not speak any English we were not able to tell her these complaints.
