We bought this wonderful home as a multigenerational home last September and quickly realized the house enjoys being filled with people. The sharing economy seemed logical and thus began our Airbnb adventure.
Ken's been in love with the Berkshires since childhood (Dad was in BSO for 30 years) and decided to locate here as an adult. Laurie was transplanted here as a child in the 60's when her Dad Tom bought a business in the Berkshires. Tom has spent the last 9 years with his wife living on a large sailboat at Jekyll Island and traveling the intracoastal waterway. Daughter Robin was born in the Berkshires and never felt a desire to be anywhere else. Together we love books (home of Herman Melville), music (summer home of Boston Symphony Orchestra), theater (home of Barrington Stage, Berkshire Theatre Festival, Williamstown Theatre Festival), museums (home of Berkshire Museum, Clark Art, MassMoca, Norman Rockwell Museum), dance (home of Jacob's Pillow) and food . . . so many really good restaurants.
And we like people and the Berkshires are filled with many interesting people.

During your stay
Most likely one of the family members is tucked away in their quarters during the day but available.
A casual breakfast facilitates our goal to create a space that inspires good conversation between guests and possibly the initiation of new friendships. Guests are welcome to help themselves to coffee, tea, fruit salad, bagels etc.
