Interaction with Guests

I live IN North beach as well and will usually will be the one to personally do 'house calls' if there are any issues.
I also have a partner who also lives in the neighborhood, and is available if for some reason I'm not in the area.

The Neighborhood

“A neighborhood like North Beach is a rare thing. It manages to be a perennial hit with tourists as well as remain beloved by San Franciscans. It is best known as “Little Italy” and of all the neighborhoods in San Francisco, North Beach feels most like New York. The bustling sidewalls filled with tables of diners chowing down on pizza and fried calamari, the small, quirky specialty shops, and the plethora of bakeries, delis and old fashioned bars combine in a vibrant, changing neighborhood.” SF.- Chronicle.

Getting around

Public Transit - There is an abundance of Public Transit around Washington Square block, that is 1.5 block away. Our building is SUPER lucky enough to be SO CLOSE to public transit, but to not actually have ANY BUS LINES on our street - allowing for undisturbed sleep :) Take my advice as a local, to live smack in the middle of it all - AND not having busses coming and going every 5 minutes (or less), is GREAT!
Car Rental - I always highly recommend any one visiting San Francisco, to skip the car rental. Parking in the ENTIRE city is scarce, expensive, and more of an inconvenience. Yet we are just 2 blocks from 24 hour parking garages that are $20-$25/night depending on the size of your car. The closest one being just under 2 blocks from our building.
ZipCar - But if did need a car for a day, or a drive to the infamous Haight, or spending a day in Sonoma, we are located to 10+ zipcar/ride share hubs.
Cabs - If you call a cab to come pick you up, they will not come most likely. Just thought you would appreciate the FYI. You will most likely want to get these free apps - zipcar , relayrides , or uber. These companies more reliable, and even cheaper most times.

Other Things to Note

To support a sustainable world, and reflect the values of San Francisco and guests, we use non-intrusive, high quality, eco-friendly products and services in our apartment. The unit itself is equipped with the water efficient Geberit wall-hung toilet units, double pane - sound and energy efficient windows, and privacy "bottom-up" energy efficient window coverings. This apartment truly is the "Essence of San Francisco." We look forward to having you in our home!

Check In
  • We loved Eli's place for our first visit to San Francisco and it certainly won't be the last! The place is high quality, super high tech and comfortable and last but not least, tastefully decorated. From the rain shower to the kingsize bed, it really had it all. The location was great, right under Coit Tower, which became a bit of a beacon landmark during our visit. You will find everything you need close by, restaurants and bars, shops and other fun places all in walking distance. We were sad to leave but we will be back and Eli's place will be our first choice!

  • Eli was a very well organised host and all of our requests were promptly dealt with. She did not interfere with our stay in any way unless we requested her assistance. Indeed, her operation is run so smoothly that it was not necessary for us to meet in the flesh.

The apartment itself is very well located and immaculate, just as seen in the photographs. It is well equipped for cooking, laundry, etc and has a full entertainment system.

We found our stay very relaxing and would recommend it to couples over similarly priced hotels in the area.

  • The apartment was very nice, as pictured. We really enjoyed using the airplay system. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a nice anniversary dinner. Thanks Eli.

We did have an issue with the hot water not working at first, but Eli took care of it right away.

  • Lovely host, very attentive. Apartment is lovely, clean and in a great location.

For those with a car, 2 hours free street parking in the day and over night. Parking garage down the road (5 minute) walk which is open most of the day until 11pm.

All mod-cons and in great working order. Will book again on my next visit to SF.

  • Eli (email hidden)! Her place is beautiful and just as it is on the website. Easy check in and check out. Myself and the other 3 who were with me all recommend Eli's place to anyone who wants a really cute, well located place to stay in San Fran!

  • This is a great apartment. It is completely luxuriously furnished. The area is central but also nice and quiet at night. The bedroom was as comfortable, large and well appointed as the best hotel room plus there were the added benefits of the kitchen and sitting room. We loved our stay and would love to go back.

  • Eli was an incredible host! Her place is impeccably decorated and well finished. I can't wait for the next stay!! You haven't experienced SF life until you've stayed with Eli.

  • Eli's place in North Beach was amazing! We couldn't have asked for a better area in the city to be situated during our stay in San Francisco. The place is less than a 5 minute walk away from some great cafe's and restaurants in North Beach and it's nice being able to walk across from your front door to see a nice view of the Coit Tower. If you're staying here, I recommend you make the walk or bike to Fisherman's Wharf and from there head down Marina to see some great architecture (The Palace of Fine Arts is a must!) and take in the Golden Gate Bridge views.

It's sometimes hard to say this but for Eli's place it's absolutely true: the pictures don't do justice. The place is both luxurious and spacious and has everything you would need for an extended stay in SF. For groceries, Trader Joe's came in handy as it's only a quick 8-10 minute walk away. My favourite part of the place was the technology - Airplay, digital keycodes, smart appliances and Nest. We'll be back soon!

  • This is the second time I have stayed at Eli's place. I come up to SFO on business each week and use AirBnb to find places to stay all over the city. Its a beautiful first class space with all the amenities you could want. It's new, modern and very clean. Plus its around the corner from North Beach which is loaded with great bars and restaurant's. Eli was available for all my questions (email hidden)r your next business or pleasure trip, I would highly recommend having her host you in one of her fantastic places on your next stay in SFO!!

I'm originally from Texas, but have lived in San Francisco for over 10 years now. I love art, jogging the embarcadero, learning new things, and sharing great experiences with my friends and family. I couldn't ask for anything more in San Francisco, from great healthy food, always having something to do, and a story at every corner!
