About This Listing
Perfect for solo travellers
Hello! Are you travelling alone and looking for a room in Amsterdam? I'll be happy to host you at my apartment.
I offer a private room, its small but enough for a short stay. The rest of the apartment is very nice, very light and neat. You can make use of the high speed wireless and all amenities. Just feel at home.
Like most houses in Amsterdam, there is NO ELEVATOR, meaning that you have to walk upstairs 3 floors, so plan for it in case you are bringing a very heavy bag or if you have mobility issues. In any case, I'll be happy to help you carry it upstairs :)
The neighborhood is very lively and it only takes 5 minutes to bike to the center of town!
2 minute walk to the tram and bus stops, with several connections to the center, in 10 minutes you're downtown.
The apartment is situated within walking distance to many shops and nightlife at the Jan Evertsenstraat and Mercatorplein. The Erasmus Park and Rembrandt Park are just around the corner.
Through Jan Van Galenstraat there is a fast connection to the ring road A-10, making it fast to get to-from the airport by car/taxi.
Public transport nearby including tram lines 7 and 13, and bus lines 15 and 18.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with questions!
no rules! just respect and enjoy!
My experience was nothing short of perfect. Everything was exactly as described in the description. Iranzu was out of town for the holidays when I came to visit, but left me the keys to her flat at a cafe down the street. A very good cafe by the way, nice food and coffee. The flat was nice and clean and she even left me out things to use like shampoo and face wash. I would definitely stay here again.
Easy going and overall really nice people to deal with. Very flexible, helpful all around and good conversations. The room has a very comfortable bed and a small cozy room with closet space. Super silent nights. Getting to the center is easy on foot or tram. Loved my stay through and through.
Both Lucie and Quentin were amazing hosts. They were clear with the directions and made me feel welcomed the moment I arrived. They both gave useful tips on where to go and do in Amsterdam and also helped me plan my journey.
The apartment is impeccable - clean, cosy, comfortable and well-connected with trams and buses.
Lucie and Quentin always made sure I had everything I need and never hesitate to answer my questions.
I highly recommend their apartment when you're visiting Amsterdam.
Thank you, Lucie and Quentin.
I arrived late on a Monday evening and Lucie and Quentin were still up and energetic as ever. They helped me plan my day and even gave some local tips. Foodhallen was an amazing recommendation as was the Van Gogh Museum and the Nemo. Their apartment is in a neat neighborhood and near several tram stops. I'd stay with them again and gladly recommend them!
I didn't get it meet I.M. But Lucille and Quentin who were in her place were super cool hosts! They were great in greeting me in Amsterdam and giving me some very cool advice on the city for a short stay. They even showed me two of their favorite spots to catch a bite and get drinks. If I were to stay in Amsterdam again, I would definitely want to be here as I was made to feel so at home!
Lucie and Quentin are super nice and friendly hosts! They ensured that I could check-in early as they were both at work. I also enjoyed a very delicious home cooked meal during my last night and it was so lovely getting to know the both of them better!
The apartment is clean and perfect for a solo traveller needing their own cosy space. The bed is comfortable for a good night's sleep.
Please note that it may be a little tough up the stairs if you're travelling with a big luggage like I did, but definitely possible with some determination or help :)
Still, the location is convenient - 2mins walk to a tram stop Marco Polostraat, with a direct tram that takes just 15mins to/from Centraal Station.
I had an amazing stay with them and I look forward to staying again in future with such a cool couple! :)
I had a very nice stay at Luice and Quentin's place. I was only there one night, but they made me feel at home. We ended up hanging out in the living room and talking about good music. Lucie gave super detailed directions to the apartment and it was easy finding it from the central train station. I would definitely recommend this place.
