Perfect for solo travellers
Hello! Are you travelling alone and looking for a room in Amsterdam? I'll be happy to host you at my apartment.
I offer a private room, its small but enough for a short stay. The rest of the apartment is very nice, very light and neat. You can make use of the high speed wireless and all amenities. Just feel at home.
Like most houses in Amsterdam, there is NO ELEVATOR, meaning that you have to walk upstairs 3 floors, so plan for it in case you are bringing a very heavy bag or if you have mobility issues. In any case, I'll be happy to help you carry it upstairs :)
The neighborhood is very lively and it only takes 5 minutes to bike to the center of town!
2 minute walk to the tram and bus stops, with several connections to the center, in 10 minutes you're downtown.
The apartment is situated within walking distance to many shops and nightlife at the Jan Evertsenstraat and Mercatorplein. The Erasmus Park and Rembrandt Park are just around the corner.
Through Jan Van Galenstraat there is a fast connection to the ring road A-10, making it fast to get to-from the airport by car/taxi.
Public transport nearby including tram lines 7 and 13, and bus lines 15 and 18.
Don't hesitate to get in touch with questions!
no rules! just respect and enjoy!
I arrived slightly later than expected but Lucy waited for me nonetheless. She was very very hospitable and helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my one night stay.
房子虽然小但干净整齐，厨房设施齐全。适合背包单身旅行 因为没有电梯的三楼不能有行李箱，交通方便 楼下就是电车站和赌场，我赢了210欧:）。房东是年轻的法国人 热情谢谢他们
Although the room was not ready by the time agreed upon for me to arrive, the hosts are very nice and friendly. The location is very convenient to what you want to do in Amsterdam. If you want to keep it simple in the neighborhood, with the many shops and restaurants, you can do it. If you want to head into the city center, you can do that as well in 15 mins.
The room itself is quite cozy. It is perfect for the solo traveler. The bed is incredible! Only issue I had was with the toilet positioning in the bathroom. I have more space sitting in coach on a plane. It is just awkward. Other than that, I can say this place I would definitely recommend.
Hey Parag, it was very nice to have you staying with us for few days! Sorry again for the delay in preparing the room. I understand that even if we informed you about the delay we were facing, it was not very pleasant for you at the beginning of your stay, so I am glad to read besides that you enjoyed it! Cheers,
I really enjoyed staying in the apartment. Really nice, clean and comfy. Iranzú wasn't there but her (website hidden) were absolutly brilliant, happy to help or give some advice about the city and to share dinner with the guest. It was like staying with some friends. Good neighborhood and really easy to get to the city centre with the tram just around the corner.
Very nice people. We had a brunch together. It was like eating with really good friends.
The apartment is located in a great neighborhood full for good restaurants, supermarkets and good transportation connections.
It was very easy to get there by tram from Amsterdam Centraal station in about 15 minutes. Also fairly easy to get to the airport through bus and train. The hosts are very friendly and the communication was easy.
Great experience. It was a small cozy house located in a nice residential locality. Communiting was easy as the tram stop was just 2 mins away. Direct tram and bus to central station were available from this stop.
The house was nice and clean, bedroom and bathroom are small though. As Ira was travelling, she had arranged for a cleaner to open the house and also help me with my luggage. Ira was flexible with checkin and checkout timings. All the basic facilities were available in the house.
I would recommend this place for an economical stay when you plan to travel all day and just use the room for sleeping in the night.
