This space is located in the heart of Boston! There is easy access to public transportation and is just a quick walk to the public gardens, boston common and the freedom trail.
Check-in after 10pm carries an extra $25 charge.
This space is in downtown Boston, Beacon Hill to be exact. I have a couch (which turns into a single/twin bed) available. The apartment is a one bedroom/one bathroom space. You would be staying next to the Public Gardens, Boston Common and Charles Street. The apartment is just a 10 minute walk from the North End, TD Banknorth Garden, Newbury St, the Esplanade and Cambridge.
I do live here so you would sleep on a couch which turns into a (comfortable) single bed in the living room - this is a shared space.
I am gone during the day but do have pets (very friendly dog and cat). The apartment is air conditioned and heated and has free Wi-Fi. I live next door to a laundry mat, grocery/liquor store and CVS. Nearby there is also an assortment of restaurants, bars and a Whole Foods. The apartment is very close to Charles/MGH T Station.
All guests are welcome to full use of the kitchen. Guests who create a reservation after March 23rd are welcome to some light breakfast fair and tea.
My interaction with the guest is completely up to each guest! I'll let you take the lead; if you'd like, we can have minimal interaction or we can go for a walk around Beacon Hill and have a coffee/drink!
Beacon Hill is an old, beautiful neighborhood. Charles St is very charming, I love to walk along it with my dog! I'd absolutely recommend walking throughout the Hill and checking out at least one restaurant in the area!
Unfortunately there is no free parking near the apartment. There are two garages that charge around $30/night nearby. Charles/mgh t station (red line) is less than a two minute walk away.
While my cat has free roam of the house 100% of the time, my dog will only be out and about when I am home. Both of them are very sweet and love attention.
Had a great stay at Hilary's apartment. Superb location, across the street from the tube with great access to most of the city's hotspots.
Hilary was a great host and very resourceful. Overall great experience.
My first solo experience with airbnb for a work visit to Boston. I had a great stay at Hilary's home, like staying with a close friend. She responded to texts in minutes, and was welcoming, patient and accommodating. I was grateful for the care she took to make sure she was available for my arrival. Her apartment is cute and cozy, and I enjoyed her dog and cat--just as others commented, they are calm, very friendly and well-behaved. I slept very well in her convenient city setting, which is just steps from the subway stop and Mass General Hospital, and walking distance from many interesting Boston sights. Thanks Hilary, for sharing your apartment and making my stay stress-free!
Hilary was very responsive and communicative. Her place is in an ideal location, I was able to easily walk or ride to the T to every place I needed to go. Also, her dog and cat are awesome. I look forward to returning on a future trip!
Hilary was a great host. She was responsive to my messages most of the time, and welcomed me warmly upon my arrival. Both pets were well-behaved, too. The studio was very conveniently located near the T station and Charles river. I had a pleasant time during my short stay with Hilary and would recommend this to others visiting Boston.
I wasn't able to stay at Hilary's because I fell ill the days prior. Nonetheless, Hilary was attentive and kind to my requests and follow up communication.
It is a very nice place. Pets are very quiet. Even when Hilary is no at home, they remain quiet and would not create chaos on your stuff.
Had a nice stay at Hilary's. Great location, lovely pets, and Hilary was easy to communicate with before my stay.
I really enjoyed my stay at Hilary's place. She was welcoming and very accommodating to my needs and schedule. Also, her cat and dog were super friendly as well (: the location is superb and can't be more convenient! I would definitely want to stay with Hilary again if I visit Boston in the future!
Hilary and her pets are wonderful! Her apartment was super cozy and the bed/sofa was very comfortable. Plenty of places to visit and eat at in the vicinity. There's a CVS, Top Shelf, and JPLicks + Starbucks very near. Plus, the station is right across the street.
Place is as described: in the living room of Hilary's 1BR, small couch that folds out into a twin bed, quite comfortable. Hilary was very welcoming while still being unobtrusive. Her dog and cat are friendly as well.
There is of course street noise from people walking around and ambulances and such, but that's to be expected in any convenient city location. You couldn't find a cheaper or more convenient place to stay in boston. It is literally across the street from MGH and the T station.
