Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers. You share kitchen, bathroom, living room and garden. The house is on a hill in a suburb in Reykjavík called Breiðholt. The bus stop is near the house. There is a lovely huge park called Elliðaárdalur with excellent walking trails just a minute away. 15 min drive to downtown and 25 minutes by bus.

The space

Your bedroom has one queensize bed, three tables with draws you are welcome to use, if you have cold feet there is a waterbottle in the blue upper draw. On top is a tv and you are welcome to press the Netflix button and watch from the account Hunter

Guest access

All of it except the other room and if curtains are drawn for certain area in the living room someone might be sleeping there but rest of it f.eks. the sofa and chairs are always available for use.

Interaction with guests

You can contact us any time through the Airbnb site we try and answer as soon as possible.

Other things to note

If you are coming from the airport by bus I think the best thing is to take Flybus to BSÍ and from there you can catch a bus going up to Breiðholt. Bus 3 and 4 go right by the house, the bus stop is called Vesturhólar/Hrafnhólar. If you are driving it's of course best to use GPS, it will take you right to the house but just in case you use a map you need to drive drive up the road called Krummahólar and you will see on your right big blocks of flats but on your left are little houses behind fences and one of them is ours

Very welcoming and clean home. Ósk made sure I had everything I could need. She even showed me some historical buildings near her home. Her home is not located in the center of Reykjavik but is only 1-2 minutes walk to a bus stop. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Good responsive host, quiet neighborhood, grocery store nearby, bus stop nearby, clean bedroom. Would stay again.

The hosts were very kind and welcoming, and the house is very nice. They responded to my messages very quickly, and were incredibly nice. Oska showed me around the nature preserve in the area and took me shopping and out for a beer. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, and I slept well. The grocery store really is just a few steps away. I really enjoyed my stay here!

Numi and Osk were there upon my arrival, and helped me to get settled in well. They were very helpful, and responsive to messages prior to my arrival. Great internet, lovely house, lots of room. The bed was very comfortable. After a long day of traveling and then wandering around the southern coast, to find a deep bathtub and a massage chair was absolutely heavenly!!!!

Numi was very welcoming and incredibly accommodating! She provided toast, suggestions about where to go, and how to navigate! There is even a waterfall and dam near the house! Its a great spot. However, it isn't as close to the city center of Reykjavik as we thought. The bus was 15 - 20min, not as intuitive and doesn't come as frequent. I would definitely advise getting a car! There is a local and cheaper grocery store option called Bonus nearby that is open during the day too. Wifi and amenities were great, the only thing is to get used to the smell of the sulfur from the hot spring water.

My friend and I had a pleasant stay in Númi's house. She is very nice. Although we arrived 1 am in the morning and she's not in the house, she still respond to our message very quickly.

Númi was a wonderful host! She welcomed us with a snack and a smile. While we were there she helped my husband with a little surprise for me and everything was wonderful! As we left Númi even packed us a snack for the road. We had a great time and I would definently stay here again.
