Stroll into downtown Asheville on a Friday evening in summer and enjoy the drum circle at Pritchard Park for a bit, before making your way to one of downtown's many locally owned restaurants, bars, or breweries for dinner. Spend Saturday driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiking in the Smokies or Blue Ridge Mountains, zip-lining through tree canopy, or take a leisurely float down the French Broad River. Take a brewery tour, explore the Biltmore Estate, browse downtown's shops and galleries, catch a yoga class, get a massage .... The Fellow Traveler is convenient to it all.

We had a good experience staying with Jennifer in Asheville. Clean house at a great proximity to downtown. Easy walk
Staying here was easy and it was clean! The parking was on the street and the host was very accommodating. There is a cat and my allergies were acting up a bit... But otherwise a very pleasant experience!
The location of the house was convenient to walk downtown, communication with Jennifer was great, and check-in easy. The front room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and though there were other guests staying there, we had our privacy.
Jennifer was so sweet and welcoming! I mentioned ahead of time that I was interested in hiking and trying all of Asheville's cuisine. When I arrived, Jennifer had food and nature guides on my bed and a cold pitcher of water waiting, which was so lovely. The listing is very accurate and the home is beautiful. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but wasn't a hindrance to my visit.
I met Jennifer right when I pulled up. She was lovely. The house is very cute, and the location is fantastic! I didn't spend much time at the house because I just set out on foot each day to explore the city. The small touches in the room were very thoughtful - earplugs, white noise machine, carafe of water with 2 glasses (so great! thank you!). Comfortable bed, window AC unit to control the temperature, shared mini-fridge to store your leftovers. I will certainly stay here again next time I visit, and will recommend to my friends. Thank you for a great visit!
Absolutely amazing experience. Charming old home, beautiful bedroom with a comfortable bed and cold a/c. Nice and very clean bathroom with a wonderful shower. Walkable to the downtown restaurants and breweries. Incredible price for the area, will certain visit again on future trips!
I traveled to Asheville with my 15-year-old daughter and stayed in Jennifer's charming home. My daughter and I drove for seven hours in a convertible and I had forgotten to apply sunscreen -- Jennifer saved me from a night of suffering by offering me some cool aloe! We felt at home in her lovely house, which was within walking distance of downtown Asheville. We asked her for a recommendation for dinner and she suggested Chai Pani, which we loved! We plan to return to Asheville in the near future and will definitely see if her place is available. Delightful experience!

About the Host, Jennifer-Land
I moved to Asheville in 2014 and am exploring this awesome place just like you! I came from Durham, NC, where I've totally enjoyed being an airbnb host for the past 2 years. I have a background in theatre and radio, and currently enjoy traveling, visiting with friends, hanging out at home, gardening, and working as little as possible. Come visit me and my 2 cats at the Fellow Traveler--a charming, laid back, turn-of the-century home--easy walking distance from downtown Asheville and the River Arts District.
