About this listing

At the heart of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, you'll find a small private room on the 2nd floor of a walk-up with it's own fire escape to use as a balcony with views of the Manhattan skyline.

The space

At the heart of South Williamsburg, Brooklyn, you'll find a small private room on the 2nd floor of a walk-up with it's own fire escape to use as a balcony with views of the Manhattan skyline.

The space itself has GIANT common area, which you would share with two friendly, working professionals in their 30s. Perfect for a Grad Students or working professionals who wants to spend the weekend in the city. High-speed wi-fi included. Wall A/C unit.

We usually introduce the guests to the apartment and then leave them on their own. My roommate and I typically only use the common area for cooking and dining.

The neighborhood boasts incredible food options, including the world-famous Peter Luger, Marlowe and Sons, Diner, Traif, and the newly re-opened Motorino (rated best Pizza in NYC by The New York Times). We're also near bike shops, local boutiques, galleries and bars.

Visitors can hop on the quick bike rental station outside for easy access to Manhattan across the nearby Williamsburg Bridge. The apartment is also only 5 blocks to the nearest subway (JMZ train) and 10 minutes walk to the L train or the B62 Bus. 10 minutes to midtown Manhattan on a motorcycle, 20-25 on a bicycle.

Great hosts and great location for seeing Williamsburg and also for crossing the bridge into Manhattan on a nice day. They were very responsive with regards to communication and Keycafe was really easy to use

The room was completely as described and as reviewed. The bed was super comfortable among others. I highly recommend Tom and Todd's place to everyone who wants to explore lively neighborhoods and at the same time wants to feel like you are in your own private room.

Tom and Todd's apartment was clean, central and had amazing views. The room is basic but serves its purpose and affords great views of the Freedom Tower and Williamsburg Bridge. Travel is easy and the location is amazing.

Todd and Tom host this apartment together as a team.

Tom has lived in brooklyn for over 12 years and has traveled via Airbnb for 3 years and been enjoying hosting guests for 2 years. He loves his neighborhood and the whole city. Tom works as a counselor in Manhattan and spends most of his time outside of the apartment leaving guests free to come and go as they please. He's a great communicator and an honest fella. And he loves guests that are curious about the city!
