The space
The cottage itself has been thoughtfully renovated, providing two inviting bedrooms and a sleek bathroom, all outfitted with the necessary amenities to ensure your stay is nothing short of comfortable. Wake up to the aroma of free coffee and tea, a little luxury to start your day. Designed to accommodate up to four guests, the cottage is an ideal setting for both relaxation and socializing, especially with the inviting firepit set in the spacious backyard.

Your stay promises a multitude of activities right at your fingertips. Embrace the great outdoors with hiking and biking trails, or take a dip at Breakwater Beach. For those who appreciate fine sips, explore the rich selection of local wineries, distilleries, and breweries. Please note: Due to wildlife and lake insects, please do not keep doors or windows open for extended periods of time as we are located near the lake and wooded areas.

Guest access
Entire cottage, no street parking permitted, limit 4 guests, no additional guests. Parking is restricted to 2 cars only per local laws. No parties. Please be sure to read the captions on the pictures for additional details about each space.

Other things to note
STREET PARKING: There is no street parking as required by the city. Please park only in our driveway.

SMOKING & DRUG USE: No drug use or smoking of any kind as this is also our personal home and we are highly allergic. There will be a $250 fee imposed for additional cleaning if any smoke is detected within the property upon departure. Smoking is permitted outside only and we expect guests to not leave waste behind. Please dispose of these items in the trash bins.

PETS: No pets are allowed.

SERVICE DOG POLICY: It is our pleasure to accept your group and your service dog.
Please answer the following questions legally allowed by the ADA regarding your service dog.
1. Is the dog a service animal required because of a disability?
2. What work or task has the dog been trained to perform?

We do not charge extra for a service dog, nor do we increase the security deposit. Guest remains liable for any and all damage caused by people or dog.

Under the ADA, service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal’s work or the individual’s disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective controls. The animal must be under control of the handler at all times therefore never left alone at any time.

If we discover a guest has misrepresented a pet as a service animal, we reserve the right to seek financial restitution, report fraudulent claims to government authorities and to evict the guest(s) without further notice. In the latter case, there will be no right to a refund for unused rent.

In 2022, both Airbnb and Airlines no longer treat Emotional Support Animals as Service Animals. If you have an ESA, please filter your search for pet friendly properties only.
