John and his father were extremely hospitable to me and my family during our stay. We had a large group and found the house to be very accomodating. Would recommend.
Although we didn't meet John in person, he was very helpful over email and phone to sort out our stay and provide tips for the area. Recommended!
Although I did not meet John in person he was very helpful in any questions we had. He gave great information about the area and the house. This listing is great value for the price and a great place for a couple or a family.
This was a conveniently-located house for a group of us interested in visiting Lahinch to the north and Kilkee to the south. Located in a quiet neighborhood with ample parking and a view of the ocean, it has most everything you might want or need. In our case, the owner was not able to be present, and his 81-year-old father had responsibility for preparing the house. Our request for the 4th bedroom didn’t make it to him, and the owner’s offer to set up a hot-spot for wifi communication didn’t happen. Also, the kitchen and bathrooms could have been cleaner. Still, our host was gracious to the point of making us a nice Irish breakfast and sharing with us stories of his life and work. We greatly appreciated that. Our one recommendation is to put in a clothes dryer, given Irish weather. Still, we were comfortable and found the house thoroughly enjoyable.
