VERY CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT AND TRAIN STATION. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION CAN BE ACCESSED 3 MINUTES WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE APARTMENT TO GET YOU TO THE AIRPORT QUICKLY, CONVENIENTLY AND ECONOMICALLY!

Light filled, clean, large bedroom with balcony and large sliding glass doors available in a centrally located apartment in Barcelona. A 20 minute bus ride from the Barcelona airport and a fifteen minute walk to the train station for both national and international departures.

Each guest will have access to an open, shared kitchen. The living room is light filled with large picture windows that allow for a nice breeze in the summer months! (washer available upon request). Wifi provided.

The apartment is 15 minutes walking distance to Plaza España, Fira de Barcelona, Parc Montjuic (Magic Fountain Display), Fundación Joan Miró, Poble Espanyol, Palau Sant Jordi, and the 1992 Olympic facilities (HOME OF THE X GAMES FOR THE NEXT THREE YEARS). Easy access to subway lines 1,3, and 5, various bus lines, and the train station.

Great location for getting around Barcelona. Just around the corner from our apartment you can pick up bus 91 which will take you directly to Plaza Cataluña, las Ramblas, and the Boqueria Market. If you prefer the subway, which is within walking distance, you can also pick up lines 1 or 3 and they will also take you directly to Plaza Cataluña. Line 5, also within walking distance, will take you to Parc Guell the famous park designed by Gaudi.

Authentic Cultural Experience! Our apartment is in a working class neighborhood with a great location but a bit off the well trodden tourist path this makes it a great experience because you will really see how the Spanish live on a day to day basis! Added bonus, things tend to be a bit less expensive in the neighborhood bars and restaurants! Bienvenidos a Barcelona!!

  • New Morning Jazz Room was just what we were after. I shared the room with my sister when we visited. It was very convenient as it was close to where my daughter lives. Tina could not have been more helpful and accommodating

  • My daughter and I stayed at Tina's in the begining of November. I'd never used airbnb befoure and It was a good experience. Tina most quickly replied and was very friendly.
In Tina's appartments we find all that we need for living. And it was a very nice place close to pl. Espania and Barselona Sants. We spent a wery good time in Barcelona and would like to repeat.
Unfortunately we did not have to see Tina in person, but she was always ready to help and answer questions.
And there was a wonderful friendly cat!

  • Tina was very quick and kind to respond to all our questions, we were reserving for the next day, and were a bit stressed.
She was even kinder in person, and the stay in Barcelona was very pleasant. Plaza Espana is within walking distance, with the Museum of Catalonian Art very close by. The neighborhood itself is pretty calm, with just enough small shops or restaurants to accommodate your needs.
The room is quite comfortable, we basically had the appartment to ourselves, a friendly atmosphere in the building.
And the cat was very friendly itself... :)

Last but not least, we were allowed to leave our bags before / after, Tina proving to be more than a regular host!

    Thank you!

  • This was my first time using Airbnb and now it's going to be the only site I use. What a great experience. Tina's apartment was clean and bright. The place was located right by the metro and 50 ft from a market. We never heard a neighbor or had any problems. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  • It was just great. Tina helped us out with all the info we needed and was there only when we really needed her. We were 3 people alone in the whole flat, so it was just perfect.
Everything you need is in the flat, location is great and there are shops and stores nearby.
For the amount of money you pay its like getting VIP number in Hilton for 99$.

The only thing that was missing - was a hairdryer, so if you need it - consider the possibility to take it with you.

    Don't hesitate to visit Tina.

  • My mum and I had a great time staying at Tina's place. It is clean and well-located for the centre of Barcelona. Tina was really helpful and was easy to contact when we had any questions. I would highly recommend staying here.

  • The Jazz Room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom and other facilities all worked well. There is a convenience store next door and bakery and eating places within 5 minutes walk. Transportation from the airport or to the touristic places was very convenient.

We made a last minute booking and Tina responded quickly with the confirmation and arrival details. Tina was very communicative and helpful in providing all the required information. She even went out of her way to show us the neighborhood. TIna and her family are very nice. I highly recommend their apartment.

I am not used cats being around. The cat walking by suddenly startled us a few times. However, the cat was always well behaved and did not cause any nuisance.

  • The New Morning Jazz Room was exactly as described and I would recommend it to any one wanting a room in Barcelona. The magic fountain and the Olympic park are just round the corner and if you don't mind walking a little further you can easily walk to the Old Town (we walked back from old town 4/5 nights).

Tina's son looked after us whenever we were around and was really enjoyable to chat to each night after walking all day. I don't know what else to say, it was clean, and the airport bus drops you almost on their doorstep.

  • Before moving to Tina's apartment, I and my boyfriend had a very bad first-day experience in another Airbnb room with the same price in city center. Quickly decided to move out and started looking for another room, it was Tina who most quickly replied to our short-notice request and accepted to host us. Briefly, Tina's apartment was on the other extreme compared to the previous one. It was very clean, bright, healthy and new-looking. It is also very close to public transportation which will take you to the city center or the beach in just 30 minutes.
Further, Tina herself is a great host, very helpful and extremely open-minded and easy-going. She was always there when we needed anything. I certainly recommend Tina's Jazz Room to all singles and couples who need a safe, decent, clean and trouble-free accommodation and a lovely and friendly host in Barcelona.

About
Hello my name is Tina and I am currently residing in Barcelona, Spain where I have lived for the past eleven years. After all the hustle and bustle of Barcelona, scooters, sirens, and lively Spanish children :)! I love getting back to Oregon and truly have a new appreciation for its natural beauty and tranquility! I love to cook and find the Mediterranean diet to be truly outstanding and I now like to experiment by incorporating local ingredients into Spanish dishes. After extensive travel through out Mexico and now the many years I have spent in Spain I consider myself to be nearly fluent in Spanish, although my teenage children would disagree!! I have a degree in cultural anthropology and so I am naturally interested in and enjoy cross cultural exchanges and meeting people from different backgrounds. In my spare time I enjoy road cycling, yoga, and quiet time reading.
