Rent for a short term a studio apartment (max 2 people) in the heart of Florence!
It's a mini full-equipped apartment with a sofa bed, kitchenette, wardrobe, central heating, bathroom, internet and TV. Towels and linen will be provided.
The strong point is its location. You will be able to visit Florence with no need of public transportation.
Only a short walk from famous landmarks such as the Uffizi Museum, the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens, the Ponte Vecchio which spans the Arno river, Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria.
A few steps away you will find cafès, pubs, restaurants, internet points, laundry service, gelato places and more.
Being located a few steps from the river, you can even walk to the Oltrarno district ("the other side of the river") and walk up to Piazzale Michelangelo, a famous square with a magnificent panoramic view.
You can reach my place very easily from the train station by bus since the bus stop (n° 23) is right in front of the entrance of my house.
If you'd like to stay at a B&B in the center of Florence, take a look of this beautiful room:
Especially during spring and summer time, you might feel the need to enjoy the sun and the most beautiful beaches of Italy.

Leave the room neat and clean as you found it and limit the noise level in the stair and apartment.
Massimo's apartment was great, and in a really fantastic location! We didn't get to meet Massimo, but his brother-in-law Ricardo was awesome, very kind and helpful, and gave us some good suggestions. The Wi-Fi was a little slow, but other than that it was great, and I would definitely stay here again!!
The apartment was cozy and comfortable, everything I needed for a couple of nights and amply supplied with a bit of espresso and teas so I could make something before leaving for my meetings throughout the days ahead. Although warned, the internet was a bit unstable. It stayed on long enough for a quick FB check-in at the end of the day but not much more for me to do work. It is a private apartment of the family-run B&B nearby. I checked in with Riccardo (Massimo's brother) who was at my disposal for anything I needed, but since I was out late in the evening I did not want to be rude at 1am to ask if he would fix the internet. I often deal with this problem at my home in Southern Italy. My work could wait and the bed really was very comfortable and called my name. :)
As a note for anyone traveling with a dog like I do, the nearest area with grass is just across the river and so a dog walk (even late at night) means taking a few minutes to get there. My dog is not a city dog and will not do her business on the paved streets unless it is a dire emergency. If your dog has a weak bladder you might look at someplace across the river where there are more park-like areas or a bit to the east near the Ponte San Niccolo' there is a very nice dog area and park to walk. Otherwise the location is very convenient to the historic centre sites.
This is a great location about 2 minutes walk away from the main areas of Florence. The space is small but it has everything you need (plus a washer which was a major plus for me). Massimo wasn't there during my stay but his brother-in-law Riccardo helped me get checked in and showed me around the apartment. He was very friendly and made himself available if I ever needed him. Great place.
Although Massimo was out of town, his brother-in-law Riccardo was there to greet us and help us get settled in. He showed us how to open the doors and gates and how to reach him if we needed help. He also gave us a map of Florence to keep, which was really useful. After he left, we ran into a minor plumbing issue with the toilet tank, but Riccardo returned quickly to have it resolved, which we appreciated.
The place is about a 20 minute walk from the Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station, and it's ideally located. It's right next to the Arno River and it's just a quick walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge, the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery and more. There is a supermarket right across the street for any necessities you might want to buy, and the neighborhood felt safe.
To access the apartment you'll need to go up a short flight of stairs. It's quiet (as in, you can't really hear adjacent neighbors) and it's equipped with useful things such as a fridge, a kettle, and a hairdryer. There is plenty of warm water and there are heaters around the place to warm you up in case it gets cold. There is also a small window that allows sunlight to flow through in the mornings. Although there is WiFi connection available, it isn't the strongest. I had no problem connecting to it on my phone and laptop (though at times it could be slow), but my friend who accompanied me had some connectivity issues with his phone.
The place has a comfortable bed, a full length mirror, and enough closet space for your belongings. There was one Euro to Italy outlet converter there at the apartment that we used continuously throughout our stay.
All in all, I liked the place due to its comfort and convenience. I would definitely recommend it to a friend or consider it for my next stay.
Great location, friendly welcome, perfect studio accommodation for a break in Florence!
I'm 27 years old, from Italy.
I currently live in Melbourne where I'm undertaking a university exchange program, and my brother-in-law is taking care of my guests. If you are in melbourne and would like to meet and have a chat over a cup of coffee, let me know! I'm also tutoring in Italian, so if you are interested, feel free to contact me! Cheers, Massimo.
