Lovely space and even lovelier people! Apartment was open and spacious with lots of charm, and Susana is very kind. Excellent stay.
Susana was a great host, hospitable and sharing places that she feels I might like and info on how I can go about them. Location is great for me as I prefer not to be where all the tourists are but yet still accessible to all things. Room is simple, but has all you need and comfy, like in the photos shown. She was also really nice to let me check out later. Overall a great experience.
Susana was a lovely host and really welcomed us into her home. The rooms were just as we expected; clean, tidy and spacious. The room has a lovely balcony which overlooks the street - but this does mean you can hear alot of noise from the cars and people (though we were visiting in Carnival week so the noise level was probably higher than normal!) Access to the communal spaces was a great part of the accomodation as we were able to have food for breakfast and cook in some nights. The location of the appartement is ideal for exploring the old town and Susana was great in providing lots of information about the city which was very helpful!
I spent four nights in Susana's beautiful historic home in the old part of Cadiz. It was like living in the past. The house is on a very narrow street, has a very old door and entryway, and a covered courtyard or patio. The living area is one flight up an old stone staircase. The bedroom had large windows opening on the street. The street is rather busy and it is a short walk to some of the most interesting places. Cadiz is really a town for walkers. Although there are busses and taxis, sometimes the easiest way to go somewhere is to walk. When I left, I walked all the way to the train station pulling my bags. Since it was mostly down hill, it turned out to be a pleasant walk. I could have stayed another week in Cadiz exploring the may places. Susana helped me get oriented by giving me a map and some folders of interesting places like the Historical Museum which is only a couple of blocks away. She offered me a heater in the room to cut the chill, but I was perfectly comfortable without it. I felt very much at home and recommend this household very highly. "Cinco Estrellas"
