Only weekly or monthly. You can use the entire house as your own, otherwise lower price to use guest room while I'm around - see other listing for guest room only.
House swap is also a possibility!
Historic 3b/2b built in 1926. Hardwood floors, with 10ft vaulted ceilings, central heat and air. Kitchen has been remodeled with quartz countertops. master bathroom has been updated and guest bath a work in progress but nice and big. Big front porch with adirondack chairs. A connected side terrance with big table and umbrella is prefect for outdoor relaxing for dinner.
Large parking area behind the home that can give you the option of off street parking. Large fenced in yard with fire pit and gas grill.
Feel free to use the washer and dryer. All flat screens are wired to a four tuner HD TiVo with all the channels. Kids and adults can also enjoy Xbox, and Hulu.
Sidewalks can take you to coffee, bars and restaurants near by in 10 minutes. Biking is certainly a option within the neighborhood, otherwise Montgomery isn't that bike friendly. Very friendly neighborhood for runners.
Several parks are within walking or biking distance for frissbee or tossing a football. Great places to go read or hangout on a nice day.
There is a bus stop a block away, but public transportation isn't ideal in Montgomery. Walking, biking or short drives to most things you'd want to do.
The Scott and Zelda Fitzgerald house and museum is just a block away. They both lived on my street and its a must see stop.
I have a small dog and he will not be around when you stay, but if your pets are house trained and otherwise not going to eat or paw on the furniture it's ok to bring them along. Other than that, just common sense that you are a guest and enjoy yourself. Leave things better then you found them.
Smoking is fine as long as its outside.
About the Host, Brian
Life motto would be, its easier to be critical than correct. I've worked for non-profits for over 15 years. I'm very much interested in improving others quality of life - using my talents of being a profession geek and information systems manager/architect.
I've written and published a book recently. I enjoy really hoppy beer - brew some now and then. I have a dachshund that does tricks and when not breathing all things connected to the Internet, I'm looking to meet interesting people and get out and travel.
My style is mostly Levis jeans and sneakers - keeping a suitcase and suit handy for quick flights for work.
