Spacious and newly renovated one bedroom apartment just north of McCarren Park in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (on the Williamsburg border - perfect location!) One block from Nassau G Train, 10 minute walk to Bedford L Train (one stop to Manhattan). Close to great restaurants and bars - favorites include Five Leaves (incredible brunch) and No Name Bar (there's no sign out front, so you have to know it's there!)
The apartment is on the 2nd floor, and features a full size bed, small couch, and air mattress. There is an upright piano in the living room, tuned and ready to play. Sunlight really pours into the bedroom, keeping it bright and warm. The building is quaint and quiet, and a perfect place to retire to after a day of exploring the city.
There is a beautiful white cat named Lola who also lives there. She loves attention and showing off for new guests. Very friendly.
One-night stays are welcome, but the fee will be adjusted to $150/night instead of $125.
We enjoy our stay at Lauren apt. It's veryclean and confortable, the bed is very nice to rest after long walking days in the city. NIce kitchen to cook when you don't want to go out after a tiring day. the bathroom is very clean with warm and pressure water. No worry with the cat, Lola make her own life, just need to be fed once a day and need a hug just after waking up. The subway is very close, about 100 meter from the apt. No worries with the neihgbourood
We saw Lauren just a few minutes. She was very easy to communicate with, and left some good advices on restaurants and other stuff. She was very friendly.
Process de check in et check out hyper facile. Dommage que nous n'ayons pas pris le temps de boire un verre avec elle pour profiter de ses conseils de "local".
Experience a renouveler, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés

Lauren's was a great host, her place was clean and she was very flexable with our check in schedule. The location of Lauren's place was great, and had easy on street parking. I highly reccomend this place and will certainly be back next time I need to stay in Brooklyn.
The cat Lola was very mellow and relaxed.
A magical stay in NYC with my boyfriend, made all the more special thanks to Lauren's beautiful and cozy apartment. Just perfect after a day sight seeing in the snow in December. A great area full of lovely restaurants and shops etc and very close to the Subway. For a first Airbnb experience I cant fault it, Lauren was very flexible and accommodating when making arrangements for key handover, check in and check out.
Lola the cat was a delight and lovely to come home to after a day out and about. No trouble at all apart from a bit of cat hair, which is completely to be expected and easily remedied by Lauren's thoughtfully provided lint rollers.
Thanks so much Lauren, we loved your beautiful apartment and adorable Lola!
We stayed one night at Lauren's place and everything worked out beautifully. We arrived late, and never actually saw Lauren, but she made it super easy for us to let ourselves in and "check out" the next day. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with a separate bedroom (with a door), good shower and functional kitchen. Just perfect for a couple.
I loved staying here and Lola made our stay in NY even more special. It's cute, really convenient and has everything you need. The subway is two mins walk away and there's a plethora of cafés, restaurants and shops in the surroundings areas of Greenpoint and Williamburg. I loved both these areas and hope to return to Brooklyn at some point :)
Lauren's apartment was cozy, cute and close to a lot of different places, it was about a 15 minute walk to the L. Lola the cat was adorable, laid back and a great addition to the place! I would stay here again and recommend it to my friends as well.
We had a great stay at Lauren's - Lola was very sweet company to have, the piano sounded dreamy, and the location was great - literally a stone's throw from the Nassau G Train, and close to lots of great restaurants, coffee shops and stores. A nice central location in the Greenpoint area, with an easy commute to Manhattan. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to explore this more relaxed area of the city.
Lauren as a host was great, she was very communicative and in touch if we needed anything! The whole experience was great - would love to come again.
My husband and I had a great stay at Lauren's place. The apartment itself is very cutely decorated, clean, and was a good size for two people. The location was great--very close to subway stops, and in general a safe, fun area. Lauren answered all of my questions about directions, etc. promptly via email and texts, and we had no problem getting from JFK to her apartment via a relatively quick and cheap subway ride.
The last thing I'd like to throw in about the apartment was Lola, Lauren's cat. She was very cute and friendly, and made our stay feel a lot more homey. My husband is not in any way a cat person, but he definitely fell in love with Lola!
Our 3 night stay at Lauren's apartment was great! The apartment is in a great location, with lots of cute shops and cafes within walking distance, and it was easy to get to Manhattan by subway. The apartment is super cute -- we were very comfortable, and Lola was so friendly! Lauren was available if we had any questions, and even left a lint roller in case of cat hair -- we would definitely stay at Lauren's apartment again!
Nice 3 night stay at this apartment, Lola was lovely but be prepared to use the lint remover (kindly provided by Lauren).
Very close to Nassau Av (G) and a 10-12 minute walk to Bedford (L), a great base for a trip to Manhattan, also a chance to explore Brooklyn & Local Williamsburg.
