Interaction with Guests
This is my home and you will be renting the whole place so I will not be around. The keys will be in a secure lockbox.
Alameda is a quiet and walkable small town. Walk just 2 blocks to one of the two charming restaurant and nightlife areas of Alameda with coffee joints, breakfast places, sushi and great tacos to name a few. Close to two quality yoga studios. On the other side of the island, near Park Street, is a movie theater and many fantastic restaurants like Zen and Burma Superstar.
Easy transportation to San Francisco or Oakland. Bus stop is 2 short blocks away. Take the "O" or "W" bus 20 minutes directly to San Fran or a short bus ride to the BART station in Oakland (BART is the main source of public transportation here).
Other Things to Note
Parking in my neighborhood is free and generally easy (within a block) without day or time restrictions.
No smoking on the property inside or out. If you bring your four-legged friend, please be sure to clean up any messes they make in the yard. The dog cannot be outside when you are not home so please keep the dog door closed unless you are at home (it keeps the neighbor's dog out). Alameda is a very quiet town and the neighborhood goes to sleep pretty early. Quiet hours on the property are from 10p to 7.30a so if your dog barks please keep them in until 7.30a. California is in a drought so please conserve water as much as possible (I water my plants with grey water). Also, please compost and recycle everything that you can. Thanks!
From Nov 17, 2015 - Mar 31, 2016 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
