Look for a warm welcome in my 1807 building. My apartment there is newly renovated and is only 15 minutes from central Edinburgh. I have two en-suite bedrooms, each available under my two separate listings (Wallace's Arthouse Scotland 2). If you would like to book both please message me and I can facilitate that easily!
The local area, Leith, is an historic area by The Water of Leith and has many good eating establishments of great variety - Michelin starred - Seafood - French - Spanish - Indian - Chinese - sandwich shops - pizzerias - you name it !!
My home is welcoming and comfortable with both rooms ensuite. It is also possible for guests travelling with a baby to negotiate a tariff. Parking is not difficult and free.
I am trying to bring some aesthetic enjoyment to my Arthouse in Leith. I have a baby grand piano which has already entertained the groups of people who came to my previous two exhibitions of painting, sculpture, tapestry and glass works. What fun they were!
I am in discussions these days with Edinburgh Fringe to consider having some small events in the Arthouse in August 2012. I hope this will bring some pleasure for my guests and friends. I was fortunate to have the generous support of one of Scotland’s great export companies – Bowmore Whisky Distilleries and their refined nectar – Auchentoshan !! I hope THAT generous and delicious support will continue!!!
I think you will enjoy looking at the art objects and quirky items I have acquired in my world travels and similarly enjoy listening to my CDs which encompass the Classics, Jazz and Folk. Sorry I don't have too much Pop!! It can all be heard on my wonderful Lynn player and speakers.
I have Wifi and central heating. I have en suite facilities in all of my rooms and there is a small cooler fridge as well as a kettle with a selection of teas and coffee. I have supplied a hairdryer to each room as well as a small iron.
I try to present a healthy breakfast of cereals, fresh fruits and fruit juices as well as seeded breads, herbal teas and freshly brewed coffee.
