The Space

Spotless comfortable large bedroom with ensuite,tv.Twin (website hidden) a 300 year old cottage.Situated by the river in a beautiful historical town.
You will enjoy a healthy hearty breakfast in our Victorian kitchen before discovering the wealth of history and beautiful sights of Yorkshire.
One of our many spectacular days out is to visit the historical city of York, with its beautiful Minster, traditional olde English shops and the famous fortress wall. We are just 20mins park and ride away or take a five minute stroll along the river and climb the 99 steps to the old Knaresborough (email hidden)ere the trains go regularly directly to York.
You might like to visit Harrogate our neighbour town; just three miles from Knaresborough.
Harrogate is a smart Victorian Spa town which was once the forest of Knaresborough. It is known for it's antiques, gardens and the famous Betty's tea shop. Harrogate is surrounded in 200 acres of green lawns and the crocus and daffodils in the spring are a breathtaking sight.
For the more athletic among you we have an abundance of country walks, cross country runs and rock climbing.
The Yorkshire Dales are on our doorstep.
And for the film fanatics we have......
Thirsk (home of All Creatures Great and Small)
Kettlewell (Skipton) Home of the Calender Girls.
Whitby (Heartbeat country)
And even Ripon, that is frequently mentioned in Downton Abbey.
Whatever you choose to do or wherever you like to visit,Yorkshire has an abundance of spetacular sights and adventures.
Or if you simply want to wind down and relax, our home is yours to do just that.Scones and jam on request (no charge !) Then take a stroll around our pretty town. You could walk along the river with views of the houses built high on the rock; hire a row boat or punt.Walk up to the castle and take in the breathtaking views, then visit the market square and check out the local shops...on a Wednesday we have a market and the local town cryer will announce any forth coming events.
We are a civilized, friendly town that is happy to embrace the past. Many of our southern friends come and visit simply to 'chill out'.
Sound good ? check our availability. We would be delighted to meet you.
