Please SEND a MESSAGE BEFORE MAKING A BOOKING REQUEST. OB Liquid Blue is a FLASHBACK to the 1960s & '70s! Clean, colorful, and unique, with a psychedelic rock and roll theme. Great location, a half block from the ocean and a two-minute walk to the Ocean Beach pier, stores, restaurants, and nightlife of Newport Ave. AMENITIES: *Gas & Electric, Water, Fast WiFi, Cable TV all included! Strictly animal-free due to severe allergies. PLEASE READ the HOUSE RULES. This is our home, not just a rental.
The space
This house is well-known in the community for its colorful paint and artwork. There is a rooftop deck with 360-degree views, which is perfect for Yoga. Rock & Roll art & memorabilia are everywhere.
NO KIDS: We are not set up for children.
AC: Due to the increase in temps, we've installed a central Air Con unit with a max low temp of 72 degrees. You should only need the AC occasionally in the months of July through Sept. We also have central heating, with a max light temp of 68 degrees.
SLEEP WELL: Beds have top-quality comfortable mattresses, and walls feature soothing colors to enhance relaxation.
HEALTHY! This newly remodeled home is chemical free. The colorful walls were painted with non-toxic "no-VOC" paints. The owner has severe pet allergies, so absolutely no pets are permitted, including service dogs. The perfect "OB" pad to ensure a fun, unique experience.
Guest access
You will have a full run of the house, with the only exception being one downstairs bedroom/bathroom, which will be closed and locked for the owner's storage. This is a 3rd bedroom/office. There is a single-car garage and a reserved parking space for this home. We keep some of our things in this garage, so there isn't much room left for other storage. If you are renting for a year or more and need space, we can discuss it.

We require a government ID for every guest that stays in the unit. Some of the background checks we use include criminal, eviction, sex offender, and employment.
List the full name and ages of all guests in your booking request.
This is an upgraded, unique dwelling that requires greater care than standard homes. We are very strict on our rules:
•No-Smoking
•No Parties
•Be Quiet after 9:00 PM
•No Eating in the Bedroom
•No Guests Without Prior Approval
Guest Policy: We must approve of any overnight guests that are not listed on the initial booking request. If approved, the guest will need to provide ID.
You are responsible for any damage to the dwelling or property within.
If you violate any of these rules, you are subject to eviction.
Our house cleaner may come twice a month to clean and check on the unit. The host visits not less than once a month and is available almost any time if needed. We require that you allow access to these individuals on their regular visits.
We ask that you treat our home gently, the same way you would treat your own. Please keep it clean as much as possible. Thank you!
*The Utilities bill is covered up to $200. Anything more is your responsibility. Our bill averages between $70 and $150 per month. Please notify us if you have an EV and there will be an additional charge.
