Beautiful area

Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Quiet retreat on your private floor with separate entrance, 1 queen bedroom, full bath & parking. Full kitchen: fridge, microwave, coffee maker & toaster. Near Hyatt, baseball, Rec Center tennis & pickleball courts. Walk to everything in Incline Village. We welcome skiers & pickleball players, or use for extra family space.

The space
This is our family vacation home. We love it and we are willing to share it with you. It is always wonderful. NOTE: The condo is divided into two lockable private compartments (Upstairs & Downstairs). Small children should not be left alone in the downstairs unit. The loft upstairs has metal spiral stairs and may not be suitable for very young children. If your child is too young to master this staircase they can sleep on the couch, a blow-up twin (stored in the master closet), or you may bring the light mattress down from the loft for them to sleep near you.
Because it is our vacation home there are condiments in the refrigerator and a few things in the freezer. Tea and coffee are for everyone, sugar, hot cocoa etc help yourself. On our next trip we will replace anything that is used.
You are staying in the main floor but second story of a condo. There are 13 stairs to the living area.
The skiing at Diamond Peak is just 10 to 15 minutes drive and we are close enough to central Incline to walk. The beautiful and photogenic walking/biking trail touted in the news is just 1/2 away.
You have a private second story deck and a pleasant view of other condos.
Parking is for one vehicle . We provide the permit. The beaches in Incline are not included in this reservation. You can go to several lovely beaches in the area for a minimum parking charge.

Guest access
We limit the guests to 3 for your comfort. The kitchen is fully equipped for anything but a huge turkey. Electric glass top stove and electric oven. Baseboard heat in all rooms. Loft has spiral ladder and sleeping upstairs for those that prefer.
The entry code is available a few days before check in.

Other things to note
The condo has two floors. You are renting the top floor. It is alpine structure with a very beautiful pitched roof, electric fireplace/heater and plenty of comfortable amenities. It is our home and we are there as often as possible. The deck is lovely in the summer. Views are of other condos, trees and the condo grounds.
We have a metal spiral staircase that maybe difficult for young children. Our 7 yr old grand daughter does fine. This is not a good place to play, please be responsible.

Reservation Policy
This listing uses Airbnb’s Firm cancellation policy, which allows a full refund up to 30 days before arrival. Within 7 days of check-in, reservations are non-refundable.

If unexpected circumstances arise, we are often happy to move reservations to another available date (subject to availability).

If a guest cancels within the non-refundable period and the dates are successfully rebooked, we are happy to refund the rebooked nights.

My work: Medical Sales Rep but now retired
Speaks English and Spanish
Traveler and love adventure in a new place. I am a native of upstate New York. I have been in many Latin countries and have learned a little Spanish. We are retired and enjoy long bicycle rides (we crossed Nevada on route 50), trap shooting and traveling. I like to read adventure books and biographies of people who were adventurers themselves. The spices and great food and the people of a new country or just a new city are fun for me. I enjoy hearing about other people's adventures. Maybe I can add that trip to my wish list. I travel with a backpack not a suitcase and usually stay in hostels with a private bath when I am in other countries. I am more likely to take public transportation when I travel than a taxi. Buses and trains are a great way to meet new people.
