The space
Welcome to Red Riding House in charming Hendersonville, NC, just 24 miles to downtown Asheville. Forbes Travel Guide named Asheville a top world destination for 2025.
Guests will enter the home off the covered front porch, featuring a bench and rocking chairs for taking in quiet mornings. The home's open floor plan is both spacious and inviting, boasting vaulted ceilings and plenty of natural light.
The living room is outfitted with a cozy leather sofa, swivel chairs and a smart TV mounted above the gas fireplace for chilly evenings. In the kitchen, guests will find an oversized island for food prep and seating for 4, a coffee station with local coffee provided, stainless steel appliances and all of the necessities to make it feel like home. Through the dining area, with seating for 4, is a sliding glass door leading outside to a deck with an additional dining table and 4 chairs, a Weber gas grill and a patio with Adirondack chairs and a Solo Stove (pellets provided). A hammock stand is also set up in the yard for relaxing under the canopy of trees.
Back inside, a workstation includes a 24-inch LED monitor for working remotely. On the desk, there is also a Klipsch Bluetooth speaker. The main floor then flows into the laundry area which provides ample cabinetry and counter space and a high efficiency washer and dryer. In the cabinets, we've stowed away laundry detergent, a first aid kit, flashlights, a clothes steamer, a hammock and sticks for roasting s'mores.
Off the laundry area, guests can enter the conditioned garage gym with a 3-person infrared sauna, a cold plunge with filtration and chiller, Rogue stationary bike, dumbbells, kettlebells, bench, medicine balls, exercise box, bands and jump ropes. If guests are traveling with bikes, we've made bike stands, a repair stand, an air pump, a workbench and tools available.
The home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms with double vanities. All of the bedrooms have white noise sound machines and a power strip for charging devices.
