About this listing
This spacious and sunny house sleeps 6 in beds or 8 with the use of pull out couches. It includes three bedrooms, a modern kitchen, a comfortable living room and downstairs playroom.
The house has a country feel with chickens and creekside location along Adobe Creek. Along the creek we have a spacious patio, deck and hot tub, with outdoor sound system.
The 4 chickens provide fresh eggs every morning.
We are centrally located with fantastic biking out the front door, and it is possible to access everything needed, such as shopping, Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, etc on a bike, which is provided with the rental.
Ask about an optional cottage that may or not be available if you need even more space.
Interaction with Guests
Saying hello sums it up, the house is yours.
We are on a forgotten, dead end street, have great neighbors, and are very close to Stanford. We've lived here 20 years, love it. Be prepared for sunny cloudless days 95% of the time!
We have an EV charging station at the house, and Hertz rents the Leaf Electric Vehicle at the San Francisco Airport. There is no charge for charging at our house!
We also provide a bike for getting around locally including lock and helmet.
Other Things to Note
The house is uncluttered and has many fun features such as a sand cushioned 'slackline' area to practice balancing, patio with outdoor dining furniture, BBQ and 4 independent high end audio systems in the house. The style is informal and comfortable, but neat and organized.
Please don't wear shoes in the upstairs carpeted living room and master bedroom.
Borrow anything that you find, just return it in as good shape or better.
No pets allowed in the house.
