Very cozy 3-bedroom home in a quiet neighborhood. Close to all the major ski resorts as well as the Lake. Great hiking trails within walking distance too!
Percy's Place is a three-bedroom, two-bath home just outside wonderful Tahoe City. Highlights of the house include a large, comfortable, second-floor living area, which goes out to a lovely sunny deck with a newly installed hot tub and gas BBQ grill. Between the trees you can even catch a glimpse of the lake from the deck.
If you are a dog lover, you are in great luck! This will be a vacation home of your dreams! Percy, a golden retriever, has had his paws in on helping with setting up his place. He wanted both people and pups to feel welcome, so you will enjoy discovering his personal touches throughout the house. And the neighborhood is full of doggie playmates of all shapes and sizes!
You will be a short walk away from a US forest service trail that goes forever, connecting with the Tahoe Rim Trail, among others. Gorgeous Lake Tahoe is just down the hill, and the shops and restaurants of Tahoe City are a short drive away. The Truckee River is nearby for recreation and rafting (one of Percy's favorite summer activities), and Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are just down the road for your favorite winter sports. There is even a cross-country ski area nearby where you can ski with your dog. And for those of you who just can't get away from the office, we also have free wireless internet access available.
Come out for fun or for rest and relaxation. You can find everything you need at Percy's Place. You will be begging to come back!

Bob was very helpful. The house was wonderful. 10/10
The house was in a great area just north of Tahoe City, equidistant to both Squaw and Northstar. Nice, quiet neighborhood and there are trails in the Tahoe National Forest to walk on right at the end of the block.
Once inside, the bedrooms are all good, with big beds in each. All the towels, pillows, blankets, etc. you could need. Plenty of dishware and two bathrooms. There is wifi, a laptop to use, etc. Pretty much had everything.
The living room is very cozy and the gas fireplace did a fantastic job of heating up the top floor. It is hooked up to the thermostat, so is on when it's up and off when it's down. Great system and means I didn't have to tinker with the gas stove/fireplace at all.
Overall, the perfect ski-weekend house and so so so dog friendly! Lots of reading materials for hiking, etc. with/without a dog.
Enjoyed it and the price point is perfect.
We loved our stay here and were so happy to be able to bring our dogs! The common space is huge! Another perk was to hiking trails we were able to access by walking out the door. Bob was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would definitely like to come back!
An excellent location. Close to Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. The house is very comfortable and the living/kitchen area is very large. The deck upstairs is a great place for morning coffee. There are some walking trails very close for morning strolls or walking the dogs.
Only a few things need 'upgrading'; TV service is very, very basic. But the wi-fi is good and cell service was too. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked with utensils, plates, etc. But, bring your own water to or for coffee. The 'tap' water has a distinct taste.
All in all, a very good choice.
Had such a great weekend at this cabin. Bob communicated everything very well. He called me a few days before our arrival and let me know how everything worked but also had a binder with all that information which was helpful. The cabin was great! It was very clean, the hot tub was awesome after a long day of skiing and there was plenty of room for my friends and I to hang out and sleep. We would definitely stay there again!! Thanks for everything Bob!
If I could give a 6 star review here, that would still be an understatement of Bob's amazing hospitality. Bob is an amazing person- never failed to check up on us and kept open communication about anything and everything throughout the trip.
When our car got stuck in the snow and no towing services could come get us, he graciously called his local handyman to come help tow our car out of the snow. The cabin, Percy's Place, was very spacious and welcoming. You can tell he put a lot of love into the cabin and everything you need- towels, pots, pans, condiments, jacuzzi- is there. It's also VERY dog friendly so my old-man miniature schnauzer got to enjoy our weekend with us!
Percy's Place is the perfect weekend getaway to relax and just enjoy yourself- whether you decide to explore the local scenery or just stay in and hang out in front of the fireplace. I would definitely come back and stay here anytime! Thanks again, Bob!
This place is really spacious and cozy. Its a great retreat for a group of adventurous friends. The hot tub comfortably fits 6, but you can probably squeeze in 8. The living room is about as big as a yoga studio.
Dog friendly, indeed indeed. Dog heaven.
The only downside is that the kitchen is more on the minimal side. If you plan on cooking as a group, check that the tools and spices you need are available before getting your cooking project started. Bob has got you taken care of for the outdoor grilling though. He'll even cover you if you need to pick up more propane.
Bob stayed in great communication as soon as I booked the place and filled me in on the house details immediately. He then texted when I arrived to make sure I had everything I needed. A+
We came up to shoot a few scenes in an online commercial around the Tahoe/Placer County area. Bob was super accommodating and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure that everything was in order before we arrived and that we would have everything we needed. He also did what he could to keep the channel of communication open throughout or stay, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend this cabin if you value an excellent customer service experience.
This is an awesome cabin! The owners have clearly put a lot of love into making it a loving, welcoming, comfortable and convenient place for dog owners. Its also super close to Tahoe City/Safeway for anything you might need. Bob was also available anytime via text and phone calls for any issues or questions we had while staying there.
We had an awesome weekend at Percy's Place! The house is spacious with a beautiful deck and hot tub! There were board games, cards, and the TV even got the UCLA game (we're all alumni). Bob was really accommodating and super nice. He even left us a bottle of wine! We didn't bring any furry friends with us but it's great to see a pet friendly place in Tahoe. We would go back in a heartbeat!
