  • Fantastic apartment in a great location, very clean and open. Hosts were very responsive to our questions and we had no troubles at all getting in or during our stay.

  • I had a great stay in this apartment. I couldn't check in until late, but my instructions to pick up the keys were straightforward and simple. The apartment looked just like the photos, and I felt quite chic in my one bedroom East Village apartment! It was cheaper than a hotel, and much more comfortable. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

  • The apartment lived up to the pictures and is well situated in East Village. It was unfortunate that we were not met at the apartment and directions to get the keys from a local deli proved to be incorrect. It’s tiring enough travelling but then having to tramp backwards and forwards to different delis before one is able to get into your apartment is a let down.

The apartment is attractive but the décor is a little tired. I would recommend that it gets a paint job and a good clean. Plenty of clean towels. The bed was reasonably comfortable but the sofa bed is a little lumpy. One duvet cover was stained with a very suspect white substance and there were not enough pillows.

Pillows and replacement covers were brought round on request but this took a couple of days into the trip.

The heating is very good, especially welcome as New York was very cold at the time.

It stated that breakfast food was provided but there was not really a lot in the cupboard which would have made one meal.

The apartment would also benefit from a manual on information about the flat, eg. What is recycled and where, and local information about where to go, local recommended restaurants etc.

On the whole we enjoyed our stay but first impressions were disappointing.

  • In a wonderful location, and a great size, but we experienced an unclean, grubby & uncared for apartment. The bed linen was very old (it was of good quality a long time ago and many, many guests ago, but has past it’s use by date by several years). Both the bedding and linen were very dirty indeed. We have contacted the hosts and they have assured us that the issues we have brought to their attention will be rectified for future guests. I hope that they will fulfill their promise.

  • The apartment is large and really comfortable especially for New York. I slept really well in the super soft bed and would definitely stay again! Thanks for having me!

  • We stayed in this New York apartment over the Christmas and New Year period, it was an excellent choice with lots of local bars, restaurants, shops and transport links. We stayed for 10 nights in total and had a fantastic time in NYC. The East Village is a great place to be and really easy to get around the city.

Would highly recommend and will be back to New York in the future!

  • Lovely apartment in a great location. The apartment is as exactly as described in the listing, a good size for a couple and nice and clean. As per the other reviews the bed is a little on the soft side, but this didn't cause us any issues. Picking up of the keys was straightforward and the hosts were very responsive to our questions. The East Village location is in close proximity to lots of bars and eateries and is close to a variety of metro stations. I would definitely recommend this apartment as a good base for a trip to NY.
