Lovely little house in a great neighborhood. Nearby both downtown Ferndale and downtown Royal Oak. Though we could have walked the mile to downtown Ferndale, we chose to drive and park most days we were there. The house was exactly as pictured; the bed was super comfortable, there were toiletries galore in the bathroom, and even some basic essentials such as oatmeal and coffee in the kitchen (there is even a Keurig). Sandy even left a bottle of wine on the kitchen table to welcome us! Our dogs loved the big fenced in backyard and we loved being able to bring them. Our only complaint was with the neighbors - either they're young college kids or the parents were gone, but either way they partied so loudly we could perfectly hear their music and yelling through our vibrating windows until almost 1am. It didn't happen again Saturday, so it was probably a chance happening, but it was definitely unpleasant the first night. Otherwise, it was great and we would definitely come and stay again!
Sandy is just one the best hosts you may come across, and i can tell because i use pretty much Airbnb ! The house is very cozy, and everything is there to make you life easy. You've got 2 kinds of coffee machine + a coffee press one, toaster, oven, microwave, teakettle.. As for the essential: the bed is very comfortable, with excellent quality pillows, cover and mattress. Everything is exactly like its says in the add and even better. Wifi works awesome, easy parking, nice safe neighborhood. Contact and communication was quick and easy.. well again she's the perfect host .. Bravo Sandy !
Sandy made us feel extremely welcome. We arrived late and she left the lights and heat on for us. Keys were in a lock box as well, it made it very convenient and comfortable getting in.
The home was exactly as described in the post. The home is very cozy and although it is relatively small, it felt very comfortable and welcoming. The neighborhood was safe and the neighbors were friendly as well.
This was a great place to stay! Sandy was great! Very quick to respond to my questions about the place. It was fully stocked with toiletry in the bathroom, and goodies in the kitchen! It made me feel like I lived there! The neighborhood was nice and quiet! The bed was comfy and the wifi was quick! Great stay!
Incredible. Sandy was so friendly and showed my girlfriend and I around before taking off. She left us a bottle of Merlot and a Chocolate Bar which is incredible. The house is right in the middle of Ferndale and close to all of the awesome places around including the Fly Trap I highly recommend heading there for Breakfast, and stopping at the Rust Belt Market afterwards to look at some awesome artisan items. Overall a fantastic time and stay.
