I am very flexible with check in and check out times. But appreciate it if you give me an approximate time you plan to check in and out.
Sandy was responsive to inquiries beforehand, welcoming, and easy to work with. Her house worked out great for our visit with family. It was very comfortable and we appreciated the special touches - entertainment recommendations, fluffy bath towels, coffee and chocolate! This is the community I grew up in - the neighborhood was quiet and I really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere.
Our stay at Sandy's bungalow was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet yet we had nearby access to 696. Sandy had everything set up for us. We are missing our time there already!
We had a great stay at Sandy's place in Ferndale. The location was perfect -safe, quiet neighborhood and super convenient to highways. The house was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast and coffee/tea was a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again!
We enjoyed our stay at Sandy's cozy, quiet house. Sandy was flexible about our check in/out times and provided good instructions for everything. Ferndale is a fun neighborhood, conveniently located.
Sandy is a great host and this Ferndale bungalow was a great place to stay! Sandy was very helpful and generous, and she has made this old house very comfortable. It was clean and well-appointed and perfectly met my needs. Yes the floors creak and the house isn't sparkly and new, but overall this house is wonderful and appeared to me to be exactly as advertised. Also, she provides very nice sheets and towels. Ferndale is a nice community and not far from downtown Detroit. I will consider staying again and would happily recommend this listing to others.
I had a wonderful stay. I love the house, the space, the charm. It was great, perfect and I'd love to stay at Sandy's place again. Great neighborhood and location. I could not have asked for more.
My girlfriend and I cruised to to Ferndale from Chicago for a Spring Mead fest at B.Nektar(if you're thinking something Ren Faire you would be sadly mistaken. This place is a bunch of bearded beer nerds getting into some pretty far out mead. Do not leave Ferndale without a trip to B.Nektar). The highlight of the trip by far was this cozy little home. With it's sea side theme and a bottle of wine we felt like we were sea side in central California. Clean, charming, adorable. Catherine and I were truly shocked as to how vibrant downtown Ferndale was. Very indie, great food. Wish some of the shops along the main street were open, but we didn't go out till 9pm. Our fault. We look forward to coming back soon and can only hope that Sandy will have us. I'm thinking that Ferndale is a secret MidWest treasure. Shhhhhhh. Don't tell anyone, yet.
We are new to Airbnb and starting with Sandy as a host was perfect. She was quick with answers to my many questions and her little house was a great place to land for my family. The house is clean, cozy and comfortable. Sandy left a stocked cupboard and the fridge even had goodies in it. The neighborhood was perfect for walking our little dog. We certainly hope to stay here again on future trips to the area.
Great place. Centrally located, really convenient. I plan to stay here again.
Sandy was a gracious host. She asked us what we wanted in the fridge for breakfast, and left us some other treats upon arrival! In addition, she was flexible with checkin and checkout times, and quick to respond to correspondence.
If looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in Ferndale for 3 people or less I would definitely recommend her place.
