Interaction with Guests
You will be welcomed upon arrival and are welcome to pick our brains about Savannah. We will be available all during your stay, especially at breakfast.
Los Robles is in the historic Thomas Square District, really a part of the Victorian District, just south of the National Historic District. We are in a quieter area of town surrounded my many diverse activities and SCAD students. It is a short walk to Forsyth Park, Savannah's famous Squares and the Savannah River.
Walking or driving is preferable but there is bus transportation a block away on Abercorn Street that will take one down to the Historic District. I understand the #14 bus comes every 30 minutes.
Other Things to Note
Los Robles has comfortable sitting areas on the front palazzo and in the rear, under the bamboo forest.
1. No Smoking inside the house.
2. We prefer NO pets as our dog Gordie is not the greatest with other dogs around.
3. Bedrooms have no locks
4. Coffee/Tea available after 6 AM. Continental Breakfast buffet available 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM, unless special times/arrangements are requested.
5. Check In after 2 PM.
Richard was phenomenal! He really went above and beyond what we would have expected from an Airbnb. The breakfast was amazing, they even made me tea in bed one morning. As well, Richard saved us a lot of money in taxi fairs as he picked us up from the Amtrak station and even dropped us off at the bus station two days later. We highly recommend staying here! :)
Everything was beautiful. The hosts were very gracious and inviting, and the house was amazing.
Richard and Robert have a lovely home that is a few blocks south of the main historic district of Savannah. Richard was gracious to allow us to check in a little early as we were driving in for a short visit. The room was very comfortable though we did share 2 bathrooms between 3 rooms that were all occupied with guests. There is a beautiful new bathroom with a large walk-in shower which was not in the photos on the site. Our hosts were charming and we very much enjoyed chatting with them each morning before and during breakfast. They made us feel quite comfortable and at home. I would certainly recommend this spot to couples and friends who are looking for a traditional B&B experience in an historic city.
Richard and Robin made us feel very welcome, greeted us and even gave my husband a vintage Bowtie!
We felt right at home during our stay in Savannah. The house itself is a gem. Very charming and well maintained. Richard and Robin were very friendly and heart-warming. Great taste in fine arts and furniture so for those who appreciate those will find them extra bonus to your visit.
Love the location. Not right in the actions (which would have been a downside for me) but in very walkable and pleasant distance to Forsyth Park and nice restaurants and cafes. Go have lunch at Betty Bomber's. Awesome food.
For us it's a a great alternative accommodation if you don't want to pay crazy dollars on hotels in Savannah and opt for a more interactive and personal experience. For someone who had no past BnB experience, the interaction level at Los Robles was just right.
This is a beautiful home in a very accessible Savannah neighborhood. I loved the home, the area, and my room. There was a printed list of restaurants available in my room which was very handy, as was the array of literature regarding tours and events in Savannah.
We had a great experience with Richard and Robin at Los Robles. The home, a hundred plus year old Savannah home was clean, well appointed, interesting (from architecture to books on the shelves, art work, etc.).
Conversation over a delicious breakfast each morning helped to get our day going. Having a place like this to hang while exploring Savannah was the best. Thanks Richard and Robin, Debi and I could not have asked for a better place to stay.
