The atmosphere is unique for Port Douglas, as the neighbourhood is quiet and in harmony. There are no disturbing noises to hear on a daily base, such as leave blowers, chain saws and building sites. There is just one road, wich is located in the lee of the winds, in a distance of 50m. There are many tropical birds to spot in trees, plants and palms of the back yard and at night you can hear the sound of the ocean in the distance.

Thanks Tina we had a wonderful August holiday in port douglas. The house was perfect for our needs, convenient and well presented with everything you could need. Catamaran trip was very special. You made all of us very welcome and we were delighted with the whole experience.
Tina was a great host and spent a day with us to go to the gorges. We had a great time in her beautiful and quiet flat (woken up by the birds and the smell of the flowers). We would definitely come back to hers. Thanks again !
Tina was a great host. We had a lovely stay in her beautiful apartment. The location is great, the apartment has everything you need. She met us at our arrival, gave us all the necessary information (including discount tickets for a nearby restaurant) about the apartment and the surrounding area. We were then left to our privacy for the rest of our stay. We really enjoyed our stay, and strongly recommend to others.
We had a fantastic stay in Tina's townhouse. It has all the necessities like washer and dryer and a fully stocked kitchen which was indispensable given the high cost of dining out in Port Douglas. I loved the upstairs open floor plan with the kitchen and living room and the lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful garden below There is no wifi but we asked about it beforehand so it was not a surprise. Tina is a fabulous host and a great source for information about things to do in the area. It was a shame that we could not go sailing in Tina and Will's catamaran due to the weather, but we were still able to spend time together on the boat chatting, sharing stories, getting cooking tips and enjoying Will's delicious cooking!
Tina's place was great for my husband, my daughter and her friend to stay and enjoy Port Douglas. We has plenty of room, use of her well-stocked kitchen, and laundry facilities. My husband and I will always treasure the most wonderful day we had on Tina's spectacular catamaran yacht. Even if you chose not to stay at Tina's place it is worth contacting her about a sail.
Roisin & I spent 5 wonderful days in Tina's beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment in a peaceful 6 unit complex with a really fantastic, free form pool located in the 4 mile beach area. This is the best area to stay in the Port Douglas area; a pleasant bike ride into town but on a beautiful beach away from noise & crowds of town. Tina's apartment has everything you will need, including the use of 2 bikes.
Tina is the perfect host; based on your preference she will respect your privacy, but she is always available to help you plan your activities in the North Queensland area. There is also a tremendous extra benefit in getting to know Tina. She conducts small group or private tours into the World Heritage sites. She took us a fantastic hike into Mossman Gorge within Dainbtree Rain Fredt. Tina also arranged for a catamaran sail to the Great Barrier Reef. It was an unforgettable trip of a life time! In summary, North Queensland was wonderful; Tina made it unforgettable!!!!

I love the mild to warm climate all year around and I'm still feeling like a Guest of this special Place, after all the 10 odd years I have been here on and off, living in different areas of the country. From 2010 until 2012 we have been building our 12m Catamaran in tropical Mossman, launching Siva in February 2012 and sailing the Great Barrier Reef, as well as the whole QLD east coast ever since. So I also like sailing and living on our yacht. Particularly during the Whale Season (June - October), the Coral Sea is absolutely magic! A trip to Hervey Bay during that time of the year, is likely to become an unforgettable event, with watching our Marine Life in the full :-) I love Whales, Dolphins, Turtles, unplugged Music, Bodywork & Dance, good Stories & interesting conversations, exploring new Places, Ancient Cultures, Thermal Springs, listening to Birds, trees and the Ocean, and of course eating yummy fresh, local products. And what would life be without a handful of Friends, a good laugh and a glass of crisp Sauv- Blanc at the end of the day.. welcome to join in :-)
