Interaction with Guests
As this is my holiday home and I live in Milan you will be received by my lovely friends Annie and Jean Pierre who live close by.
The apartment is located on the hill of Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, at a walking distance to the the beach (10min) and the train station (15 min).
We suggest to arrive by car to be able to travel in the area easily. There is a private parking place (included in the rental) in front of the building.
There is the 100 bus at about 300m which connects Menton to Monaco which passes frequently.
A local bus stop is about 100m from the apartment but passes rarely.
The train station is at 15 min walk and connect you easily to the rest of the coast and international railway stations from where you can reach Italy.

Please let me know if you need extra cleaning and I will organize it with Annie.
We expect guests to leave the house reasonably clean when they leave (clean dishes, garbage dumped, etc...)
Check in and check out times are flexible if possible (if there are no other guests leaving or arriving the same day). Please be precise about your arrival time as somebody will be waiting for you. Late check ins (after 9 pm) are charged 20€.
Please feel free to smoke on the terrace, we would be happy to keep the apartment a smokeless area.
Also please keep things quiet between 11pm and 8 am, so no parties please! Of course you are free to invite guests over for dinner and share happy moments together!
From Jun 1 - Aug 31, 2015 the minimum stay is 7 nights.
Great, spacious appartment, with amazing view over the Monte Carlo bay! Annie and Jean-Pierre are very kind and wellcoming hosts. We spent a great week here. Comfortable bed and sofa-bed, well-equipped kitchen, quick wifi.
Paulo was really quick to respond to my original enquiry and then subsequent questions in a very friendly manner. The arrangements for getting into the apartment worked smoothly and the local contact Annie was very thorough talking us through what we needed to know ( in French - I got most of it!) and left her contact details which we didn't need as everything went well. The apartment absolutely lived up to the description : the view is stupendous from dawn until night time when the sun disappears behind the Tete du Chien and the lights come on in Monte Carlo. It's well located, only 5 mins from bus stop and 10 mins to local supermarket. The 100 bus service between Menton and Nice gave us lots of options of interesting places to visit. Be aware that everywhere in Roquebrune is either up or down so you get plenty of cardio work! The apartment was very spacious and always warm - a bit too warm at night. We had everything we needed except an ironing board and 2 more soup/dessert bowls (only 4). The TV is too old and too small but wifi is good so we used our laptop to stream programmes. No working freezer ( not a problem in winter) - space could be used for a small dishwasher? The induction hob was fast and the 6-in-one table top oven proved very useful when cooking for friends.
We spent five wonderful days in very interesting, clean and well equipped apartment. We have to say that the best is awesome big terrace and the view – it is really breathtaking. Annie and Jean Pierre were very friendly and helpful. We recommend this apartment.
We spent 11 wonderful days in these beautiful and stylish apartment!
The view here is awesome! All the time we went out in the towns around we wanted to come back in our apartment, so here is just wonderful place and you could spend here whole day with pleasure!!
It's very stylish apartment, the owner has a good taste what I couldn't find in other apartments around the world!!
There is a huge collection of old, retro audio records (Italian and others) they are just gave a wonderful background for our staying (we listened to it all the time:)
We would love to come back here again with a big pleasure!!!
Maxim and family
We had a wonderful stay at Paolo's place. Annie and Jean-Pierre welcomed us very warmly and gave us many helpful informations. The view from the terrace is spectacular and make the place worth it! There is no air conditioning so the apartment is very humid but not so hot considering the high temperature outside. The apart is very clean and the wifi works perfectly. It is like on the pictures unless the cushions on the outside chairs are missing. We had a very great time and will probably go back soon! Julie and Sylvain
