As this was my first Airbnb experience I really hoped to choose a good apartment for my stay in NYC and I wasn't mistaken. GiGi is amazing, so welcoming and attentive. My room was very cozy, clean and had everything what was needed. I also liked the location, only 4 minutes from the subway, easy to get wherever you want. My stay was perfect, definitely will stay here again during my next trip to NY!!!

Good value. Very close to public transportation. Gigi is a wonderful person and hostess, and her cat Chicken is actually quite a 5-star host, too. The neighborhood is a little challenging. However, there are few good restaurants and organic food to be found in the local corner grocery store.

Great location with a great host. Neighbourhood is vibrant and puts you in touch with a part of NY you might not otherwise find. Room is comfortable and clean. This is a great spot to base yourself for a week of exploring through Manhattan and Brooklyn.

I'm an artist from Western New York and have lived here in Brooklyn for over 16 years. Most of my working life has been in night clubs, bars, restaurants and hotels. I've held down the door for some of the most talented DJ's in NYC, hosted underground parties, hung millions of coats for famous people, stuffed countess 100$ tips in my brazier and managed a career working internationally as an editorial fashion photographer, while showing my art work in galleries.

In addition to my air bnb, I continue to work freelance and study philosophy and horticulture. I love traveling and have been all over the world. The most interesting thing to me is the beauty and hospitality you can find once you open your self up to new things.

As a host I like to give people space and let them enjoy the apartment. I'm a very social person but also love privacy. Every situation is different and I find it very important to respect people needs on an individual basis. I live here and work here often, so chances are we will be running into each other. I always give my guests priority and make sure they are very happy.

I've had great experiences doing this. I've met the most amazing people and have made life long friends. Sometimes we have a drink together, occasionally a smoke, sometimes we have tea, sometimes we move all the furniture and have a dance party, tend to stay up late talking, do graffiti in the streets, switch up the art work in the house, and sometimes we just simply pass each other and have a nice chat.

Either way, I warmly invite you to stay.
