Beautiful, creative, artistic environment at the point where three neighborhoods meet. This room is calm and tranquil, with minimal decor and neutral tones.
One block from the subway.
A beautiful and sunny apartment on the 2nd floor it features 2 private bedrooms both with full size beds. Each room accommodates 2 people. Bed rooms are back to back, joined by individual closets, so there's no noise. White in the front and Beige in the back. There's a huge open living room, dining area with a table and an enclosed kitchen. There are plants every where there is sun light, along with art work from my private collection. Apartment is modest, minimal and temperature controlled.
The Beige Room is in the back of the apartment where the light is beautiful. It's very quiet with a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for 2 people, as it's a little bigger than the white room. Fresh bedding and towels are always available.

Kitchen, bathroom, living room, pretty much everything. Guests are encouraged to relax after a long New York City day and make them selves at home here.
I give people space and I'm here if they need me.
I'm always happy to help with directions, guid books and practical NYC insider advice.
The last stop in Williamsburg on the JMZ train, this culturally mixed neighborhood is situated on the edge Williamsburg where Bushwick meets Bed-Stuy. Here you will find an avant garde area known for its vibrant underground scene. This up and coming neighborhood is stirring with bohemian night spots, funky cafes, dive bars, art gallery's and junk shops all in walking distance. Not to mention everything is very affordable and vey close to Manhattan.
The J/M/Z train is One block away, about a four minute walk. The J goes downtown and the M goes uptown.
You can take the subway here directly from JFK.
This is a great station because there are always two trains heading into the city. The J train runs express during rush hour and is 2 stops from Manhattan, very close and very fast. The M runs local and is about a 15 minute subway ride into Manhattan. This above ground train takes you over the Williamsburg bridge and is not as aggressive as the L train rush hour commute.
The L train is available however, about a 15 minute walk to the Jefferson stop. I personally prefer the J or M because its just outside the door.
There are two rooms here.
Unregistered guests are not permitted to stay the night.
Do not let anyone you do not know personally into the apartment...(not anyone)
Gigi was an awesome host, super friendly and helpful.
The apartment is in a great location and is really nicely decorated. The room was comfortable light and warm.
All in all a great place which I highly recommend.
I had a terrific (email hidden)'s place! Felt instantly at home. It felt great to discover that interesting city, and in the evening come home - and really feel at home!! To have somebody to share my experiences with and just: be. Such a relaxing and beautiful place, thank you very much Gi Gi for all your effort to make my time in NYC so special.
It´s a very nice appartement and room. Very comfortable bed and it almost felt like coming (website hidden) Gi been around and always good for a chat. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely sleep here again.
Gigi's place has been a really nice trip and there are so many great details to explore in the apartment you wouldn't find anywhere. I felt very much at home and Gigi was always there for a chat, something I always look for with Airbnb. It's indeed short to the metro and I could get easily go west from there.
Gigi's place was great (very clean and tidy, with good light). She's a nice, very laid back host. I felt very comfortable there and enjoyed hanging out and talking about photography. Easy to get to the subway with access to surrounding Brooklyn neighborhoods, Manhattan and JFK.
Staying with Gigi was super nice. The place is very comfy and bright. She is a very good host and always tryin to help with tips!
My stay was most pleasurable. The apartment is homely with Gigi's many creative touches. The bed provided my most comfortable sleep in weeks! Gigi was most helpful and a great person to meet!

I'm an artist from New York and have lived in NYC for 13 years. I love traveling and have been all over the world. The most interesting thing to me is the beauty and hospitality you can find once you open your self up to new things. New York City is an adventure in its self. This is a secure place to begin and end the escapade.
As a host I like to give people space and let them enjoy the apartment. I'm a very social person but also love privacy. Every situation is different and I find it very important to respect people needs on an individual basis. I live here and work here often, so chances are we will be running into each other. I always give my guests priority and make sure they are very happy.
I've had great experiences doing this. I've met the most amazing people and have made life long friends. Sometimes we have a drink together, occasionally a smoke, sometimes we have tea, sometimes we move all the furniture and have a dance party, tend to stay up late talking, do graffiti in the streets, switch up the art work in the house, and sometimes we just simply pass each other and have a nice chat.
Either way, I warmly invite you to stay.
