Apartment - Entire home/apt · South Burnside Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90016, United States

This 1 BR & Bath fits 4 guests easily & feels like a big, warm hug that makes you smile. Extremely comfortable, convenient and beautiful, located in a quiet, lovely street, just a few steps away from The Grove in Hollywood.

The Space

The apartment is in Hollywood in an incredibly charming area.
Come for a visit, discover our home and find the best of Los Angeles at your doorstep.
The area is a tranquil retreat at the center of Los Angeles, with the city's best shopping, dining and fun activities... all just steps away!
The location is an ideal spot if you are looking to check out Los Angeles like a local. You are in close proximity to The Grove and The Farmers Market (at the Grove, where you can catch the Red Line to Universal Studios as well), Hollywood and Highland , The Beverly Center and Larchmont Village. Locals in the area hang out on Melrose, 3rd St, Beverly, Larchmont Blvd and Highland Ave.

The building housing this apartment stands above beautiful tree lined streets and a fountain in the middle of a roundabout. You will find that these streets have a very mellow, quiet atmosphere despite of being at the most exciting area of town.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO GET AN EVEN BETTER IDEA OF THE L.A. ENTERTAINMENT OFFERS LISTED BELOW, PLEASE CHECK OUT THE ACCOMPANYING PHOTOS AND THE COMMENT-RECOMMENDATIONS ON THEM AS WELL!

On one end the apartment is right next to The Grove, the historical Farmer's Market and the exciting 3rd st which consists of cafes, boutiques and outdoor restaurants; meanwhile on the other side you will find Museum Row, the famous Tarpits and Miracle Mile. You can walk to either of these in 5 minutes, if you walk slowly, maybe 10!
If you (website hidden) The Grove Hollywood, you will get an immense amount of suggestions regarding shopping, dining and entertainment nearby!

The bedroom has an incredibly comfortable king size bed - when you wake up you can pull back the thick, dark curtains and stretch and look out the window that covers the wall right next to it and in the evening admire the sunset over the hills from this cozy and comfortable spot. Right next to the bed you will find a himalayan rock salt crystal lamp that naturally ionizes the air.

The living room has a queen size day bed that also sleeps two and our guests have all loved it.
The apartment is on the top floor of the building and has stunning views from every single room, including the kitchen.

Interestingly the kitchen cupboards are from the 50s and made of metal, but the granite counter top and brand new dishwasher and fridge lend it a modern feel. Also have toaster oven, coffee maker, blender.

In the living room there is a 60 inch television with cable, DVR, HBO and since by now we watch everything from the Internet the TV has a thunderbolt to HDMI cable set up and it works with computers that have thunderbolt plug. You will find the apple recharger and HDMI cable right under the set ready to roll!

We are interested in green living therefore the entire house is as eco-friendly and toxin-free as an apartment could be.

We have a spot for your car in an indoor garage, included with the rent and you will have access to it of course.

Laundry is available in the building.

Lightning fast 50 mbps WiFi will be waiting for you as well and feel free to use the office and all it's conveniences.

We would love to ask our guests to please take off their shoes at the entrance so we can keep the rugs and carpets as clean as possible ;-)

The complex has beautiful pools available as well. Unfortunately they would normally require resident's membership and id to enter but for guests the entrance fee is nominal. ( $20 / day for adults and $7 for children) Amenities offered: heated junior olympic pool, jacuzzi, sun deck, locker room and shower.

Trader Joe's, Whole Food and Ralphs are all just around the corner. Sunday mornings both Hollywood and Beverly Hills have amazing Farmer Markets that are not just a great place to visit but also to buy delicious local produce.
It is infinitely easy to find restaurants in the area that will suit your interest, palate or dietary requirements! From the original Nobu on La Cienega and Gordon Ramsay's newest restaurant to the deli of Erewhon, which offers the most health conscious food you can ever imagine or desire.

  • We had a fantastic time in LA where we visited our son, his wife and one year old granddaughter. We stayed in AnnaBlancas very nice apartment that is located in a quiet area and jet in close walking distance to many restaurants and shops in Farmers Market and the Grove shopping center. The apartment is great with a fine view of LA from the 12th floor, especially beautiful during sunset. The apartment is also great to stay in with a gigantic TV-screen and both a comfortable bed for two in the bedroom and a sofa that also functioned as a comfortable extra bed.
AnnaBianca gave all the information we needed and kept in contact during our visit to make sure that everything worked fine. We really can recommend others to rent this apartment and hope to be able to come back in the future.

  • This was my second time at Anna's. I love her place, it feels like home, can wait to stay again as I finish my Yoga Training in LA!

  • Anna was the BEST. She left us the most detailed explanation about how to use everything (pics included). The place is beautiful, it has the best views. Sunny, warm, and with a perfectly prepared kitchen. Not to mention the huge TV, of course. Please stay here if you come to LA, it's at walking distance from farmer's market and The Grove (yes, you can walk in LA if you stay at Anna's place). She doesn't rent an apartment, she rents a home.

  • The views, the park, the location, the comforts, and the massive flat screen TV ticked all the boxes for our family of three.
This is simply a fantastic place to come home to each evening, after exploring LA.
AnnaBlanca was wonderfully communicative, adaptable and helpful to us during our week and a half in Mid-Wilshire.
Our travel experience was immeasurably enhanced by staying here, Thank you for your generousity and trust AnnaBlanca!

  • I can't recommend AnnaBlanca's apartment highly enough. I was looking for a quiet, safe apartment in a good location near to film archives as I was doing PhD research. Though I'd been to LA many times before it was the first time on my own, so it was important that the apartment filled my criteria. It was all that and more. It really is walking distance to LACMA, La Brea Tar Pits, The Grove and Farmer's Market - all well worth a visit and a short drive from everywhere else I needed to be. Stunning views over LA and amazing sunsets. AnnaBlanca, though not in LA when I was there, was so incredibly helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she responded to queries very quickly.

It's a spacious apartment, fast free wifi and a huge tv with HBO. I'd definitely stay here again if I get the chance to go back and would highly recommend it to friends.

  • Staying at Anna's was dream. Easy. Calm. Beautiful. Her listing is entirely true and correct. A real respite from the ruckus of driving around L.A. I would recommend this place 100% to anyone considering being in L.A. for just about any reason. I will definitely be staying here again when I make it back.

About
Hello Dear Wanderers! I have traveled the world all my life for work and fun and I know how important it is to feel comfortable, safe and relaxed when you arrive to a new destination and you just want to take a long shower and cozy up in the perfect bed. I can completely relate.... My motto has always been that "if you don't live on the edge, you take up too much space!" LOL!! - oh you cannot imagine how much I have followed that motto! Yet now I have settled down in L.A. and starting a new business called Decadent Wellness!! The title of the company speaks for itself but just to give you more of an idea imagine your favorite classic indulgences in a way that is not only health-neutral but actually highly beneficial for you on the long run! These include gourmet chocolate and hot blends of cafe mocha, hot chocolate & chai tea - in the most yummy versions you can ever imagine. It is exciting to find a great adventure again and this time via a business which does not require me to pack my bags constantly. (Seeing the world I love! but packing?! brrrrrrrrr……!!) Nowadays I cannot imagine a better feeling than be on the other side of traveling: be a hostess to happily content travelers and also through my other work, empowering people to take charge of their own health and wellbeing. I love this city with its vortex of amazing, caring, enlightened and fun individuals, its endless sunshine, its multi-faceted offerings. I am so truly blessed to be based here, I would love to host you and hope your visit to L.A. will make you as happy as this city has made me by living here. It was a great pleasure creating this home with deep care and detailed attention. In the process I have even fallen in love with it and it is so hard to leave! It is my deepest wish that you will love it as much as I do….. See you and talk to you soon! AnnaBlanca
