The neat decoration, the warm living spaces, the six welcoming bedrooms, are conducive to relaxation and the pleasure of meeting with family or friends.
The space
La Closerie VITIS ARBOR is an old, stone building surrounded by a small vineyard, ideally located on a height, away from any hustle and bustle. A refuge where you will find rest and relaxation, in a rural setting.
Its renovation combines the charm of the past and the comforts of today's facilities.
Its area is about 400m² on two levels.
In the entrance, you enter a vast reception hall of 30m² where there is a beautiful staircase.
There is also a 19m² cloakroom (with men's/women's sanitary facilities).
On both sides, a 33 m² living room with two sofas, a bookcase and television, as well as a bright and open dining room of more than 55 m², which can accommodate 14 guests around a large table. On the wall, a large panoramic in pastel tones, sets the tone of the bucolic atmosphere we wanted.
An outdated kitchen of 27m² is attached, fully furnished and very well equipped (SMEG induction cooking piano).
Two large refrigerators, one of which is "American", are installed in a 14m² storeroom. A large capacity washing machine and dryer are in an 8m² laundry room.
Also on the ground floor, you will discover a room with the pretty name "Part des Anges", with an area of 23m² with access for people with reduced mobility, with walk-in shower, sink and toilet.
Upstairs, a corridor and a landing distribute 5 bedrooms with names evoking our passion for vines and wine.
The "Œnanthe" Room of 22m², en-suite bathroom of 11m² and wc (crib) , whose walls are lined with a delicate and refined "Aux oiseaux" wallpaper.
The room "Entre cœur" of 14m², with bathroom of 8m² and wc, the decor of the headboard gives this room an atmosphere evoking nature, and its palette of greens.
The "Fleur de Vigne" room of 23m² with bathroom of 10m²and wc (crib) is equipped with a bathtub, and an old work bench serving as furniture supporting vanities.
The "Pointe verte" room of 16m² with bathroom of 7m² and wc, in terracotta tones, evoking the color of the earth of our region.
The "Four Lies" Room of 26m² with bathroom of 12m² and wc, acting as a dormitory for children, with 4 beds 80 cm wide ( can be brought together on request into two 160X200 beds, equipped with mattress junction).
All these rooms are equipped with queen size bed (except the children's dorm), white bed linen, bathrobes, towels and bath mats. There's also a TV in each of the six bedrooms.
Exterior:
Outdoor garden table with chairs
A swimming pool (11m X 4.5m with salt filtration and heated from June to September depending on the weather). Its pleasant exposure overlooks beautiful greenery. The pool is equipped with a roller shutter that must be closed outside of supervised swimming.
A cloakroom equipped with a shower and a toilet is also available. Beach linens will be provided. ⛱️
Sunbeds and garden furniture.
A space dedicated to well-being, with spa and sauna, will give you soothing and relaxation (shower) .
A bocce court (3.70m X 12.50m), ideally exposed, will allow you to enjoy the wonderful sunsets! 🪩🪩🪩

La Closerie Vitis Arbor is located in Gironde in Entre-Deux Mers, in a cul-de-sac.
- The nearest supermarket (INTERMARCHE) is in PELLEGRUE (4 km). (possibility of home delivery)
- For bread and pastries, a delivery service can be arranged every morning (paid service upon reservation)
- The small local produce market is every Wednesday morning under the Halle de PELLEGRUE
By car:
Sainte Foy La Grande (train station🚉/ supermarket / hospital ): about 15 minutes / 18km
Saint Emilion: approx. 25 minutes / 30 km
Bordeaux (airport): approx 1 hour / 80 km
It was a demanding, but exciting adventure to bring our old building back to life.
Here it is now ready to resound with the laughter of the children and to immerse the grown-ups in the calm and sweetness.

Guest access
The closerie is a collection of old stone buildings.
Guests have full access to all areas of the main house, and the following outbuildings:
- building opposite the kitchen:
* technical room with games, plancha available and garbage cans (food waste, sorting bin)
* a swimming pool room including a changing room equipped with a shower, sink and separate toilet.
- building for the wellness area equipped with a sauna and spa (with shower)
- the petanque court with access to the dovecote for lighting the boulodrome.
The rest of the buildings are reserved for the use of the wine property.
Guests have free access to the entire property consisting of vines with fruit trees, the two wash houses (no swimming), the pond and its nearby environment (no swimming).
There is private parking.
Other things to note
The outdoor salt pool is heated, if necessary from 01/06 to 30/09 depending on the weather. The average temperature will be 26 degrees.
Tastings of the property's wines can be arranged by prior reservation.

Other things TO note:
- Please do not leave outdoor lights on all night and/or day
- Please respect the exteriors (no papers or butts, your pets droppings...)
- please close the shutters when it's windy
