  • Great host, fantastic apartment, close to everything. Thanks for a great stay Katie and Mecky!

  • Katie's apartment is very nice and is ideally situated for someone visiting Hollywood / West Hollywood. It's quiet and comfortable.

I was frustrated by the lack of reliable WiFi and the barebones accommodations -- there were just enough utensils and kitchen ware to sometimes be able to cook (and as I was there for a month, that was important for me), but not much beyond that.

Katie's mother, who manages the property, was always kind and responsive to issues though. And again, it's a lovely place in a great part of town.

  • First timer! She set the standard high folks! Katie was amazing with communicating with me and making sure everything is great! This place is beautiful and in walking distance to all your yummy tummy needs! I am a foodie myself and if you are about walking to great spots then this is the place! I cant wait to come back and stay next time i come to LA :)

  • I rented this place for my mother and brother who were visiting from out-of-town. The location is a BIG plus, as one can walk from the house to all the shops and restaurants on 3rd, the grove/farmer's market and Beverly Center.
Katie is very polite and accommodating. The house came with a parking spot, and at some point Katie saw we had an extra car and let us use an additional parking space that was available. I thought that was very nice of her.

  • Katie was very nice as a host and the location was great but overall I wouldn't stay here again. The kitchen was very understocked (no dish soap, no dishwasher detergent, a few assorted plates). The furniture was awful and felt like it was going to break. One towel. Hot water lasts exactly 7.5 minutes, really. There is a family member that lives behind that comes by every couple hours or so and just peeks in on you. $40 nightly cleaning fee is ridiculous, place was not even that clean upon arrival. Couch has sewed on covers that were very very stained.

A $1000 deposit is also crazy on a place like this. The renter is carrying high risk as there is nothing of value in the location besides some appliances.

This place could be amazing with some updated furniture and a stocked kitchen, lower deposit, and better cleaning. And the hosts family member needs to be not so involved.

  • I stayed for a number of weeks at this rental. This house is brand new and is completely redone. It is very tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The main highlight for me was that not only this was VERY central, it is one of the quietest neighborhoods for a good night's rest.

Katie is a great host and was very accommodating of any requests that I made during my stay here.
