Villa Description:

Freshly modernised, Villa Aksara combines traditional Balinese charm with thoughtful updates for enhanced comfort. Well secluded at the end of a quiet alley, it’s a peaceful retreat just moments away from the vibrant energy of Seminyak’s Oberoi district.

The villa centers around a long swimming pool, perfect for a morning swim or a relaxed afternoon under the sun. At each end of the pool, two charming bungalows with alang-alang roofs house cozy bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and serene pool views.

The main living space is a striking Joglo-style structure crafted from century-old teak wood, blending heritage architecture with a warm, contemporary touch. It features an open-plan kitchen, a dining area, and a lounge that opens fully onto the lush tropical garden, creating a breezy and inviting atmosphere.

On either side of this central space, two additional bedrooms offer garden views through large bay windows. Each room includes a generous dressing area, full en-suite bathroom, and modern amenities in a refined Balinese setting.

Just 250m from Seminyak Square and 700m from the beach, Villa Aksara is ideally located for those seeking both convenience and tranquillity. Whether you’re here to unwind or explore, it’s the perfect base for your island escape.

Please remember that Bali is a tropical island with an amazing biodiversity. You might see all kinds of exotic and less exotic animals during your trip. Included small insects like ants and mosquitoes as well as harmful small lizards and geckos that are very common in Balinese homes and hotels. Due to the proximity of the rice fields all around Bali, in rare occasions you might meet a rice field mice or even more rarely a snake (almost all of them are harmless).

We do our best to control mosquito population in our villas by doing fumigation twice a month, cleaning the place thoroughly every day and maintain the garden several times a week, unfortunately (or fortunately!) we can’t eradicate every living creature. We provide mosquito spray and electric repellent.
