We had a wonderful stay at the Folly. Lesley was great with us, giving us great directions and even picking us up from Carrigart when our lift fell through. The Folly itself is fantastic. Beautiful views and a really cosy space, ideal for couples/ solo travellers. The only disappointment is that we didn't have time to use the fire... next time though. Location wise, the Folly is up the hill from Downings, a fantastic little walk down and you're in the the town. It's great, close enough to the action but secluded enough for some peace and quiet as well! Fantastic overall experience and will definitely be back on our next trip up to Downings.

Excellent location, amazing views. Fantastic hosts. Do not let the exterior of the folly put you off, as the interior has everything you need, the peat fire stove is an absolute bonus. We had the most enjoyable relaxing stay, and spent the weekend just destressing. Will definitely be back, and will recommend the folly to our family and friends.

We enjoyed our one night stay at the Fairy Tree Folly. The view was beautiful, accommodations were cozy and very quiet. Robert was a great host (Lesley was away so we missed meeting her). We had a great conversation and tour of their little farm before we left the next day.

We enjoyed our stay, the views were stunning and the room was very cosy despite strong winds and rain. The electric blanket, shower and wood burner were fantastic! Thanks again.
