If you are looking for a temporary place to stay for a great rate, then this is it. We are professional folks with a very comfortable 3 story contemporary town home. We're renting one room on a short term basis. No smoking and no drugs. You can share the rest of the house, cook, BBQ, chill in the lanai and even use the bike to go to the beach, surf and boogie boards. We have 2 very friendly cats, Coco and Kiki.

My house is located on a safe and quiet tree lined street with a neighborhood feel yet with easy access to active commercial streets. You are not a slave to your car, everything is within walking or biking distance. Go for a walk on the beach or down trendy Montana Ave and explore unique boutiques, enjoy a cup of tea at an outdoor coffee shop and watch the paparazzis chase the celebrity du jour. You won't want to leave.

  • Elisabeth is great and very welcoming. The place was clean, secure and in a great location.

Before i booked, Elisabeth did warn me she had a "full house", i never really expected it to have 4 or 5 travelers in there. As a result it felt more like a hostel - not my thing. Even though rooms are private, locked and very clean etc.. its not the type of experience i expected, so i'd recommend to future visitors to enquire about this before they book (in all Airbnb's actually)

If this seems harsh, its not meant to be - it is important to share all "context" with other travelers to help people make the right choice / fit for their needs.

  • Cintia is a super warm host. She made every guest feel at home. She has a great cooking skill and huge personality. You will definitely become a friend of her after your stay. She even emailed me answers to my questions about LA. Great location and best bed ever! Only 10 minutes walk to the shore. I strongly recommend Cintia and her rooms!

  • Great place in a convenient location. Unfortunately I was only in town for two nights, but the hosts seem incredibly cool and friendly, and will definitely point you in the right direction for whatever it is that you want to do. I wish I would have had more time to hang out with them!

They have a ton of gear available for rent for surfing, biking, and a bunch of other stuff. My bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything was clean and top notch. I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area.

  • My stay in Santa Monica was perfect! The house is clean, spacious and in a very central location. The hostess and all of the guests were extremely friendly and accommodating, your stay can be as friendly or private as you choose. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Santa Monica and would certainly stay there again. Also, my bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! :)

  • Cintia was a wonderful and accommodating host. The house is in impeccable shape and very cozy. She went out of her way to make sure I felt at home and welcomed there. I loved my room and the bed and pillows were so comfy - I had the best nights sleep there that I have had in a while. Overall, I would absolutely stay there again.

Thank you for all you did while I was there.

  • We spent three nights in the house of Elisabet. It was very nice. The hospitality was great and the bed was sublime. The location was fine, near the beach and around the corner was a great natural foodstore. We can fully recommend a stay by Elisabet.

  • I didn't book anything and I had to find a place at the last minute. Elisabet was easy to contact, she was ready to help us as soon as I get in touch with her.

We just stayed few hours in her place but we felt home.

The house is big and beautiful, all you need!

There is couple of stores and restaurants around the place so it's easy to find things.

If I have to come back to Santa Monica, I would stay there for sure!
