The house was a wonderful place to share a vacation with a few families with small children - the house had a great assortment of beds to fit any arrangement of people, and was very comfortable for us all. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the bocce set, and we adults loved the grill and the deck. A great location close to hikes (long and short) and many other activities. Robin and David were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. We definitely want to return some day!
The cabin was everything that we expected and more. It was clean, well kept and in a great location. The cabin is well-equipped with everything that you would ever need for your holiday. The maps, information booklets and hiking guidebooks were most helpful in finding places to explore. The highlight of the week was a drive through the mountains and seeing a moose along the road. It was a great holiday.
The cabins was clean, comfortable, and well equipped (kitchen utensils, maps, etc). Great location for the whole family.
This place is exactly like described. Spacious, quiet, and very clean. It is just a 3-min drive off the main road, yet when we arrived at the place it feels like we were right in the middle of the woods. Very refreshing. There is a supermarket and a few restaurants within 10-min drive, and within 30-min drive there are plenty of trail heads to choose from. We used the grill and the sauna, both worked great and made the stay more enjoyable. The house is well-stocked with dinner wares, condiments, shampoos and towels etc.
The place is fantastic. Beautiful house, very well kept, user-friendly, and lots of fun. Robin and David are the consummate hospitable renters.
We went up to Robin and David's house with eight friends to participate in a race on Mt. Washington. The house was AMAZING and perfect for what we needed. The wood stove kept us warm after a long day of racing in the cold with beautiful views of the mountains. Our group will certainly be coming back soon!
I stayed at Robin and David's cabin for a 4-day retreat with my startup. We had an amazing time and thought the cabin was the perfect setting for the retreat.
There is plenty of great hiking around the area (and skiing too if it's the right season). When we weren't outside, we were making good use of the wood burning stove and playing board games.
Thanks so much, Robin and David!
About the Host, Robin & David
The Cabin is our second home. It really isn't a cabin it was nicknamed that by our nephew and it stuck. We love the location of this house. We are so close to the activities that we enjoy so much, hiking, snow shoeing, fishing, canoeing, shopping, eating, just about everything you could want. For Families Story land is right down the street.
As you will see we like our wine up here so please feel free to add your corks to the ledge.
We hope you enjoy our cabin half as much as we do
