About this listing
Cozy and charming apartment in the heart of Copacabana. Only 3 blocks away from Copacabana beach and subway station. The place itself is cozy and perfect to land after a nice day in Rio. Welcome to Rio!
The space itself is a cozy and comfortable place to land after a long day. Welcome to Rio! This apartment is located in a perfect and safe neighborhood for visiting Rio, in the heart of Copacabana. My cozy apartment has all you need to make your stay in Rio a pleasant one. This is my home, so it has everything you may need. The urban front apartment is on the 4th floor. There's a big balcony decorated with candles you can light if you want to make a nice environment to relax, drink or have dinner. The apartment comfortably fits 4 people. The place has 2 bedrooms. Both of them have a double bed and big wardrobes. If more than 4 people want to come, and some of them don't mind sleeping on the sofa, let me know about it. As you can see in the pictures, there's a big sofa that fits 2 people. I live in the apartment, but I don't stay in it if a guest come, because I usually intend to rent the whole place, so you can enjoy the whole apartment and have your privacy.
The guests have access to the whole apartment and items on it. There is Wi-Fi that my guests can access. I have a very comfortable and big sofa and cable TV in the living room. A fully-loaded kitchen, including a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, stove and all the items that you'd expect - including cooking items. There are two bedrooms in the apartment and one of them is a suite. The place have two other bathrooms, besides the one in one of the bedrooms (one has a regular size and the other one is smaller). The apartment has a big balcony with a view to Barata Ribeiro St., which crosses all Copacabana. From the balcony and the front bedroom you have a view of the beautiful Cantagalo Hill. There's also a washing machine you can use (no charges for that).
Interaction with guests
I live in the apartment, so we'll have the opportunity to meet in person when you arrive, but I don't stay in the apartment if the whole place is rented. I'm a very happy 34 years old professional guy and I love meeting new people and positively interacting with them. It'll be my pleasure to make your stay in Rio as pleasant as possible. I can give you any instructions and tips you need, and if I don't know the answer, I'll find out about it. I love going out with friends for restaurants, cafes, drinks and trails. You're already invited to join if you want to. It'll be enriching talking about life experiences, Brazilian and Rio lifestyle, travels, custom, culture and more. I love exchanging experiences with people from other places. I also like to cook and I'll be very glad to give you some Brazilian food recipes or recommend nice places to eat. Even though I'm this type of person, I do understand if my guests don't feel comfortable in having this type of interaction. I respect that and I'll let our interaction be driven by you. You'll be given my cell phone number and e-mail to get in touch whenever you need.
Copacabana is a vibrant neighborhood that never sleeps. That's something I love. There's always something going on and places to visit, eat or drink. It's lovely to walk on Copacabana sidewalk by the beach and ride a bike on the bike lane (you can rent a bike in the neighborhood – just download “Bike Rio" app and take a look). There are people on the streets all day and night. This unique style makes Copacabana a so special place to be.
The apartment is only 3 blocks away from the world's famous beach and also only 3 blocks away from Cantagalo subway station, from where you can go to most places in Rio. There's also plenty of buses, cheap taxis and Uber all over the place if you want to explore other parts of Rio, but the best thing is that you can walk along the beach and streets of Copacabana and get everything you need: nice restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, ATM machines all around and more. Some of these places are open 24 hours a day! Copacabana is also next to Ipanema, Leblon, Botafogo and Rodrigo de Freitas Lake. You can reach all of those places just by taking a nice walk.
Other things to note
I'll provide my guests soap, toothpaste, shampoo, hair conditioner, towels, pillows and bedding.
Smoking is allowed, but use the balcony for that. Keep the house as organized and clean as possible. This is my home, you are my welcome guest and the rules are simple: just do what you'd do at your place and don't do what you didn't expect others to do in your place. lol
