I live in a two-bedroom apartment which was fully refurbished. The guestroom has a bed, closet and desk, and is about 10 square meters in size.
Next to this, there is a new kitchen (with dishwasher and gas stove), dining room, living room, small terras where you can enjoy breakfast or a cigarette (no smoking inside please), bathroom, and small room with the laundry machine. Feel free to use the laundry machine.
My appartment is located close to the Simonis Metro station, which is on line 2/6, one of the main metro lines in Brussels. You can use this metro line to come to my appartment from South Station (8 minutes metro). It's also the metro line that goes to Atomium. It's also not far from North Station (there is a busstop 100 meters from my appartment and it takes you about 10-15 minutes to get there. Also line 51, or the busses from De Lijn are close. It takes you about 30 minutes on foot to get to the city-center, about 10 minutes by bicycle, and somewhere in between by public transport, depending on the hour of the day and frequency of metros.
Breakfast is not standardly included, as on weekdays I will not have time to prepare this. But if you want me to make you breakfast in the weekend, just tell me and we can see :)Otherwise, you can use the kitchen and there is a bakery on the other side of the street. Small shops are also very close, with Lidl or some other bigger shops at about 500 meters walking. There are not many restaurants around, but (next to my favourite kebab-place where you get kebab & fries for 3,5 euro) I can suggest you to try the new Thai restaurant two houses away (around 10€/dish - haven't tasted the food yet so far), a very good Italian restaurant (La Luna). Parking is not free in the street, but at about 500 metres, you can park for free.
When submitting a reservation request, please try to indicate at what time you would arrive, as I'm working during the day, this makes it easier for me to check whether it's practically possible to receive you. The checkout hours I have put are open for discussion, but please ask me. In the weekend, for sure you can check out much later. Don't hesitate to tell me how you'll come (car, bus, plane), so that I can give you some practical advice and tips.

Lovely apartment, great host! I feel lucky to have had such a good experience. I arrived at Wannes' place and felt immediately like home. The flat is clean and you have everything you need! Add to this, I even had some quiet evenings in front of the TV watching movies with Wannes.
He is very friendly. incredibly down-to-earth and an amazing interlocutor. I highly recommend him as a host!
This was my first experience using AirBnb, and it was a great one! Wannes' apartment in Brussels is quite spacious (and conveniently located next to a Metro stop). It has all of the amenities one would need to travel comfortably (real bed, full kitchen, large bathroom with towels provided, washing machine). Moreover, Wannes was very friendly and patient with all of my questions. I would highly recommend this space to anyone visiting Brussels.
Wannes is really kind and sociable. He would help you out with all your questions about the city, the local shops, and places to go out during your stay. The place is wonderfully furnished and very clean. The cheapest room he offers is very cosy and has space for everything. You would definitely enjoy your stay in Brussels with him as host. The neighbourhood, by the way, is really well connected with all the entire city, even if you have to travel all the way down to the south. You will not regret.
Wannes is really a nice guy and helpfull if you have questions about Brussels or other practical questions.
The room is not big, but in reality you dont need a bigger one :-D, because you can use the whole appartment. The whole flat was tidy and you can use every equipment in the kitchen or the washing maschine.
